Tap That OBX

Came here the other day while we were checking out a bunch of wine, brewery, distillery type places. My friend selected it because he loves bourbon. In a nutshell, Tap That is a bourbon beach dive bar. Bartender Phil was polite and accommodating. He knew a lot about bourbon and was able to talk about it with us and help select drinks. There were plenty of options for people as long as you like bourbon. In the back, they have a cigar lounge, game room, another bar, and bathrooms. Front is very spacious with lots of tables and a small area to hangout outside. Very close to the beach but not really any views. Games were fun! They had foosball, shuffleboard, darts, and pool. Bathroom had some funny signs in it. They also sell jugs and T shirts and the place is dog friendly.

Awesome little spot. Was stopping into Art's Place but had never been here before so I decided to stop in. Phil was awesome, good beers on tap, nice selection of liquor. Pool and board games. Met Bill on the first night of the cigar room being open. Really knowledgeable and chill guy. I have no knowledge of cigars but seemed like a selection to meet everyone's needs. Grab a drink and a cigar and check it out. They just opened and really looking forward to the future once they dial it in. Cheers!

A neighborhood bar with a great laid back feel. They serve local draft beer and a large selection of bourbon and tequila. We ordered in food (they don't serve food) and enjoyed playing pool (and foozball). Our pup was welcome and also gave it a thumbs up. There was a cigar store and lounge in the back.

We are in town visiting family and stopped by tonight to play pool and drink a beer. They had a really good dark beer that I liked and two nice pool tables. We had a great time.I ended up leaving my purse behind and they tracked me down on social media and I was able to go back later that night and pick it up.They have great beer, music, pool tables and they are a friendly and honest bunch. This is a business worth supporting.

No food. Just a bar. With a cigar lounge! Large bourbon selection, tap beer including local and regional breweries--live music on weekends. Great spot!

Walked in at 9:25 pm on a Saturday and was told, "bar's closed. Go to Chili peppers". Seemed cool but hard to say when a place closes before ten pm on a weekend.

Our first time visiting location and it was awesome! Phil at the bar was a great host. No food, just beer, whiskey, pool, music and cigar lounge. If you just want a place to hangout, this is the place to be!

Been there a few times. Bartender Phil seems to be more obnoxious each time we go.The other day 3 girls walked in and said they'd never been there. He just threw menus at them and walked away. He is so unprofessional. They left and so did I. Good luck great concept, wrong barkeep!

Has the best selection of top shelf whiskey, bourbon and tequilas! The owners is amazing and super knowledgeable and friendly. A great place to go and relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
