Dr. Brown and her team don't just give the best dental work I've ever had (which they do) - they're one of the best service businesses I've ever patroned. Dr. Brown gives does thorough analysis and treatment to find problems other dentists have missed, and fits your dental health into your larger health picture. Plus, she and her staff are super kind and hospitable - I sometimes forget that I'm a relatively new patient and not an old friend. They are *really* good at what they do, and I highly recommend.

I was once a patient at this practice and there is a reason for using past tense. There is nothing comfortable about the entire visit. From the minute I walked in until the frustrated departure, Tanya and her staff, while smiling and happy, made my visits miserable with how they handled the procedures. For example, impressions were an absolute debacle. They lay you almost upside down, inject some type gue all around your teeth making sure they put as much in the back as possible, overload the trays, and then place them in your mouth. Between the gue and overloaded trays it automatically kicks in a gag reflex that goes on and on until it gets removed. Every single time I went in I explained how their method causes me to gag and they changed absolutely nothing.Contrast that with my current dentist who listened to everything I said about my previous experiences with Tanya Brown's Office. My current dentist kept me upright in the chair, did not use any gue, loaded the trays only as needed, and prior to inserting the trays sprayed deadening mist in the back of my throat where the tray material could possibly touch. Not once have I gagged during impressions and there have been triple the amount than I had at Tanya Brown's Office. Add to that every single impression took the first time at my current dentist where it would often take twice at Tanya Brown's Office. Adding to the impressions debacle, simple cleanings were also very uncomfortable at Tanya Brown's Office. It always seemed it was someone new who would cause bleeding during the procedure. No bleeding at my current dentist! My suggestion is to look elsewhere if you want quick, painless, and thorough procedures done correctly the first time.

If you're looking for a dentist who will look for every way possible to make money off of you, then this is your dentist. $110 for a "dental exam" that lasts all of two minutes when you have dental insurance is highway robbery, not to mention the constant text messages and calls you will receive after seeing them to make your next appointment for the unnecessary "records" and images they will suggest is ludacrous. If they could take so much time reaching out to me so that they could make more money off of me you'd think they'd take the same amount of time to make their patients know that they will be charged more for one visit than they pay for their dental insurance in a month.Dr. Tanya Brown should be ashamed of herself.
