Tabol Brewing

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. They are under new management. Good spot to come relax, grab a beer and chill either inside or on the patio. Lots of outdoor patio seating. Good service, friendly staff. Definitely check this place out if you just want a drink and a good place to relax. It's next to a cigar lounge if that's your thing as well.

Tabol is still great. It's spacious and the deck is nice in a warm day. The staff their is always so friendly and cheerful. They didn't have any fructoj today, but the tabol biere is a great alternative! It's labeled their wild variety, but it does taste like a sour. Now that the area has developed a bit more, parking can be a little harder to find some weekend nights.

Went there on a Friday night to have a few beers. We were excited to try it because they are specialty is lagers and that's definitely more of what my husband and I are into at the moment. We were greeted at the door by somebody telling us there was a cover for the night so we all had to pay seven dollars to get in. It was a special country night with line dancing, so that was unexpected. We stuck around, enjoyed tasting the pilsners and lagers and even enjoyed a line dancing lesson. Although it was definitely not the vibe we were looking for, it turned out to be a fun experience. The music was definitely very loud though.

Brewery went from being a gem to becoming get tight lounge 2.0. This place was custom designed and gave really good positive vibes. Beer was also okay but it was more for ambience and how it is in a hidden spot. I used to have burgers here on Thursday which were made by their main cook and were great as well. They went in partner ship with get tight lounge in Richmond. Result is that this brewery looks like just any other brewery. In fact they changed it to look like a total opposite of what they had before. It looks like get tight lounge. I went there once post new ownership. It was like sitting in a dive bar. They fired the old cook who used to make us smile and take time to make a burger and explain his process. All my friends and coworkers stopped going there. Capitalism casualty !!!

Hidden gem of a brewery in the city. Not far from everything but off the beaten path. Good brew. Great service.

This brewery is off the beaten path of the well known areas in Richmond but it is quite the find. There is seating inside and outside and the deck is really nice with couches and tables. Inside the vibe is casual and there are TVs set up around the place. The staff is extremely friendly and will let you try beers before you order. I typically will like beers that are at a minimum of 6% but all of the beers I tried here were under 6% and they knocked my socks off. They use less sugar they said and more of the good stuff to make the beers. I had an IPA and a stout and both were excellent. They have 4 packs to go as well. Definitely add this hidden gem to your rotation. BTW there is a food truck outside that looked really good.

I'm normally not one to frequent breweries, but this place is great! My husband and I came here last week and had a wonderful time. He had a beer and I sipped on Kombucha while we talked and played some of the available games. I LOVED the interior. The greenery, plants, decor, design, furniture, the projector, everything was awesome. The real star of the show, though, was the Women's bathroom! It was decked out in pinks, golds, greenery, gorgeous wallpaper, mood lighting, the works. I loved it and it inspired me to take more risks with my own home design. Loved the outside patio, too, and that they have space for food trucks on the weekends. This is a great place to hangout with friends and/or family!

Ok so I wish sometimes that there were different categories for reviews- like "atmosphere" or "beer/food". This is one of those places where I'd give the atmosphere a 5, the beer TASTE a 5, the POUR a 3, and the price a 3. Does that make me sound annoyingly specific? Welllll, my thoughts are strong and I must let the world of yelp know.They have a cool, relaxed feel inside with a big deck outside right in the sun. They also have games. This isn't in the hustle and bustle of Scott's Addition so that's nice. We tried two of the beers which were great. It was $6 per glass for 12oz but our pours weren't filled up very high at all so it was sadly more like 9-10oz. I know they did just open a week ago so I'm sure they'll be better with that very soon!

Really upscale tasting room in a new area of town. The patio is beautiful, though a bit too cool outside to enjoy it on our visit.Staff was really helpful.Oh yeah, the beer. Very different from most breweries. Lower ABV than you usually find at may breweries which is nice to so can try many without overindulging! I enjoyed a great sour style and my husband loved the fresh tasting IPA.They had a food truck in the parking lot, though we didn't try it. Seems like a nice addition to the Richmond craft beer scene.

Great service and beer. The bartender was very helpful and super friendly. Beer was great and the extra holiday decor added to the atmosphere.
