The perfect, relaxing summer activity. You can pick different kinds of lavender or flowers. I chose a mix of them and I was glad the person checking me out wrapped them separately so I would know which one was the culinary bunch. Their shop also has lavender lemonade and lavender snacks. I picked up a lemonade and a lavender brownie. Both were delicious. The live music added to the atmosphere. They also had the cutest farm animals.

We came on their last day of the season about a week ago late June. It was beautiful, very family friendly. We went just to check the scene out and we do plan on returning for more events in the future and during lavender season itself. The staff that we encountered were very helpful thing I noticed was how nicely dressed was that worked there. They offered a lot of lavender themed products things like food and drinks and soap. They had a garden that you could just walk through. It is very picturesque the entire property.

Love love love this place. A hidden gem of Williamsburg for sure. Prices are reasonable, staff are super kind and overall I had a great time. I came here to pick wild flowers which I think was actually better than the lavender pickings. They also have a cute shop where you can buy lavender items as well as a small menu of food items like lavender drinks, ice cream, and cotton candy. They also have a petting zoo open at specific hours and some other events like evening live music.

I went there on a whim and always wanted to go to the farm. I just went into the shop to get the product to help me sleep. The smell of the lavender on farm is very relaxing. The products that I purchased that day are amazing and smell wonderful. I'm looking forward to next season and picking fresh lavender.

One thing I can say is that this lavender farm is a hidden gem in Williamsburg! Came here for a visit on a very warm July morning, but enjoyed my time feeling at peace. Upon arrival you'll check into the cottage to pay for your bouquet (not included in the price of your ticket). $8 to pick lavender, you can also pick sunflowers, and zinnias. U-pick tools will be given to you which include a basket, ring, and scissors. The farm happens to be open rain or shine. May through July are peak times for lavender, but they also are open in the Fall! Sunhats are recommended. They offer sweets treats in the store and have a few benches throughout the farm to sit. They offer storytime for the little ones. You're able to foldable chairs. Parking is pretty easy and there was plenty. This is an activity that is fun for all gives you a nice to to unwind. Tickets are available for weekdays and weekends during their open season. All in all I had a positive experience and would definitely return!

I had been wanting to visit sweethaven for some time now. I decided to book tickets for my anniversary with my husband. We took our kids along with us. It was such a nice experience. I wasn't expecting to have as much fun as we did. Firstly, the staff were all so kind and helpful. It was our first time so we weren't sure what all to do but they let us know the ins and outs of everything. The lavender was so beautiful and plentiful. The kids really enjoyed picking the lavender, sunflowers and wild flowers. They were also able to feed the sheep. They have a nice little area that served all kinds of lavender treats and drinks and everything was so yummy. The shop had the cutest items to purchase. I would definitely try and make this a yearly visit.

What a lovely place! I could have not asked for a better experience here. It was easy to book online our two hour experience which I bought the picnic basket experience for the three of us attending. Foodwise- everything in the picnic lunch was absolutely delicious. The Turkey sandwich was good and of course all of the lavender infused treats from the brownie to the fruit salad and everyone in our group had the half & half Arnold Palmer and all items were so yummy! Other food products are available for a la carte purchase such as cotton candy and scones and they looked yummy as well. Store-Lots of great products and I wish I could buy all the lavender items! Nice and friendly people working the store. The farm-beautiful and peaceful gardens to walk through. Lambs-so cute and sweet! Overall a great experience here! Love the package deal!

The season unfortunately ended on July 2nd. But I must say I'm glad I was able to catch this lavender farm in Williamsburg a few days before they closed! Thank you Aneesa, for showcasing them on a reel,so that I was able to catch them!To visit the lavender farm, you make advance reservations online which allows you to visit the lavender farm and explore. If you want to PICK & CUT lavender or flowers or feed and pet the sheep you pay for those activities when you arrive at the farm. You can also just purchase lavender infused treats like ice cream, brownies, cotton candy, chocolate, lemonade, teas and iced lattes at their mercantile shop. Once you pay for your treats you pick them up in the barn behind the store. They also carry lavender soaps and other lavender items for sale in their store. Picnic food such as sandwiches, chips etc are available for pre-purchase online AT LEAST 48 HOURS in advance or you can bring your own picnic on the premises.Be sure to have your pre-paid tickets on your phone or printed upon arrival to show at the check in shelter near the front. This is where you will pay to pick lavender or for any other activities. You then walk a few feet where they hand you a pair of scissors, a basket and a ring for each number of bouquets you pay for. You will fill the ring with all the stems you have cut until it is packed and that designates ONE bouquet. After you are finished cutting your lavender and flowers you bring them into the mercantile shop and they will wrap them for you. Tip: If you pay for cutting flowers, wait to pick it AFTER the lavender or after anything you are planning to do. Because the longer the flowers are cut and do not have access to water the faster they will wilt and you end up paying for essentially dying flowers. I saw this one lady and she brought her zinnias up to be wrapped and they were all practically dying and wilted. I paid to feed and pet the sheep. I just had to! They're way too cute!! The young lady that was monitoring the sheep was telling us their names and they are mainly named after flowers. Too cute! Lots of them were babies that were born in March and April and are twins! I purchased a lot of the lavender desserts! They were pretty good! I had the lavender lemonade which was pretty and refreshing. The lavender ice cream was creamy and a pretty purple. I decided to save my brownie and scones for home and purchased some for my husband to try. The lemon lavender scones were a good consistency, weren't dry but I felt they could be more flavorful. The lavender brownies were soft and delicious!! It was windy that day and while I was enjoying my treats the wind knocked over my bag of lavender and zinnias. I didn't realize they had placed my zinnias in a cup of water. I had to get more water and ask them to re wrap my lavender because the wrapping paper was soaked. If you have a closed container or a small cooler to set a vessel of water or even your car drink holder, use that to ensure the water for the flowers don't spill.Over all, it was an awesome experience, a lot of focus and concentration with cutting lavender and making sure you're respectful of the bees. I like that I was able to mix in some French and English Lavender in my bouquet. It was a very enjoyable time spent outdoors with my niece and sisters. This particular lavender farm is very picturesque, beautiful, serene and well organized. Although, we went when it first opened for the day at 10am, it was really busy! I was hoping it wasn't going to be so many people at that time. Their time slots are two hour durations : 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm.Their weekends are a bit different with them open later from 6-9pm with live music.

We were looking for a cute day date and came across this cute place! Sweethaven Lavender is exactly how you would imagine it to be! After parking in the lot, as I approached the entrance of this farm I felt like I was going to a wedding reception or something similar. It felt and looked very fancy! Without even entering, you could see the large lavender, wildflower and sunflower fields they have!We planned on just having the picnic and taking some pictures within the fields (admission was like $7 and adding on the picnic was $23), however while taking some pictures we couldn't help ourselves and decided to add on picking some flowers ! They had the option of picking sunflowers (3 for $8), lavender ($8), zinnias ($8) and or a bouquet of wildflowers (however much you could fit in a plastic cup for $8). I didn't think that there was a huge variety of the wildflowers, but as you can see from the picture, my friend proved me wrong lol. It was really hot (we went mid June) and not really any areas for shade, so I recommend bringing a hat! There were also a lot of bees, so be careful if you're allergic. There was a small little play area for children to play as well. There were little barns they could play in and a stage area where they could act on/run around on/do activities. There was actually a group of children present for a birthday party which I thought was super cute! There is also an area for corn hole. I forgot to take a picture, but there was also a cute little tent on the farm and they offer glamping which is super cool! The picnic included a Turkey croissant sandwich, lavender Mayo on the side, a small fruit cup, a lavender brownie, and your choice of beverage (lavender sweet tea, lavender unsweetened tea, and lavender lemonade). The beverages are a little on the sweet side however when the ice melted and diluted the drink it tasted great lol! There was plenty of seating for eating. We weren't sure if we needed to bring our own blanket and basket so we did. Don't do what we did haha. They provide you with your own basket and blanket to sit on if you choose to sit out on the fields! We ended up not using it and sat at the tables haha. The food was ok. The sandwich is probably as you'd imagine. They added a touch of their lavender straight from their field to the mayo if you want to add that to your sandwich. If not, they include regular Mayo too. The fruit cup was pretty sweet/ripe as well too. And the brownie was delicious, no nuts for those with allergies, just a touch of lavender.Overall, I loved my experience here! The price was well worth the experience. The staff was super helpful and nice. The farm was clean and beautiful. I'd definitely come back and would recommend to people in the Williamsburg area or around the area, looking for a nice place to spend time on a beautiful day.

Such a great place for a family outing or with friends. I went with a girlfriend and we very much enjoyed our afternoon. The grounds are beautiful and so inviting. A relaxing feeling takes you over as you enter the lavender fields. The employees do a wonderful job of explaining how to collect your lavender and the different types they have in the fields. They give you a basket for your collecting as well as tools for cutting. We meandered for a while and collected our stems for our bouquet. They also have a Zinnia field and sunflowers so we collected flowers as well. When we finished, they wrapped up our bouquets and we enjoyed looking in the little shop were you can purchase items such a lavender syrup, etc. Following that we sat and enjoyed some lavender lemonade. A perfect way to end the afternoon. Next time I will have the ice cream!
