I highly recommend Sweet Indulgences by Tonja. I chose to work with Tonja based on her Yelp reviews. I was going to be in VA Beach for a birthday celebration and wanted a special cake. Tonja was very easy to work with in designing the cake and making delivery arrangements. She packed the cake very well and labeled it (so the hotel staff would know it was spoken for). She combined 2 pictures I had picked as "inspiration"of her previous creations and decorated it so beautifully. No corners were cut. I ordered red velvet with cream cheese frosting. The cake was moist and dense without being heavy. The frosting was so good and not overly sweet. We are grateful that it freezes well...we look forward to continuing to enjoy this delicious cake!

Tonja was an absolute delight to work with. She made my retirement so special with her cake and cupcake design. Most importantly it was delicious!!! I really appreciate the fact that she does not use fondant! Tasted absolutely amazing and I can not thank her enough!!!

Another great order from Tonja. We got the red velvet cake again and the famous cinnamon rolls. Moist, rich, and delicious! Recommend the ganache drizzle on the red velvet cake-it takes it up a notch!

Listen, I don't even know how to begin. If cakes were heaven, these are the ones you are looking for. Sweet Indulgences can fulfill every need for any event along with that sweet tooth. The display of the cakes are perfect, very neat have a clean look to them. They look so good you almost don't want to cut into them lol! My go to order is the red velvet cake. Since I've tried it back in April, every event I have coming up, I have to order one! I placed an order of 3 for thanksgiving and 2 for Christmas! So trust me they are to die for. I am located in the Richmond area, but I make that drive to pick up the cakes, however delivery is also available locally . The prices are very affordable, especially compared to other cake quotes that I receive for big parties. Communication is on point and whatever you want you shall receive! I recommend Sweet indulgences to everyone within the Virginia Beach area!

These cakes are amazing!! I tried one of Tonja's cakes through her daughter and I was blown away by how flavorful and moist they were. For me to not be a sweets and went back for a second piece shows a lot. Order one of these cakes today. You will not be disappointed!!

We ordered an Anniversary Cake while on vacation in VA and it was the best cake we have ever had. Tonya is a wonderful baker and a very nice person. I will definitely order from her again when in VA next year. Highly recommend!!

Tonja saved the day. I'm going to thank her for going above and beyond, but implore everyone not to expect her to be able to pull of miracles every time. I arrived in town today (from across the country) to try to pull off a last minute birthday for my mother's birthday. I was in search of a bakery / cupcakes for a party of 20; only to stumble on Tonja, thank you Apple Maps! I called at 10:30am and needed a lemon cake or cupcakes by 4pm to serve 20. I didn't even know what size to order. Tonja felt my angst and came to the rescue with the most amazing cake, light fluffy and own so yummy.

Tonja was awesome and made a spectacular cake. She was able to fit it in on the day of the birthday with no prior notice. Great to work with, highly recommended!

My mother, who lives in Florida, always sends a cake for my birthday.  The company she used to order from had expanded and the quality just wasn't the same.  This year my mother found Tonja online and I am so glad she did! First of all, my mother said she was such a joy and so incredibly helpful.  Tonja had lots of fun ideas and made sure she understood exactly my tastes. She delivered a beautifully decorated cake with fun flames on top and around.  It was so incredibly moist, chocolate with yummy smooth ganache and the icing on top was the best I have ever tasted!  Tonja also went above and beyond and picked up balloons to deliver with the birthday cake!  I would not hesitate to recommend her.  Just asked for extra business cards because you will need them to hand out when your friends and family taste it!
