Sweet Cups & Corolla Cupcakes

I thought it was weird to get a cupcake at the beach, but hey, I'll try anything! Please learn from me. This place is not worth your money! The cupcake was dry, and the frosting was whipped cream (not buttercream). Some people might like that, but I thought it was strange. The ice cream was gritty, icy, and artificial-tasting. The sign touts "Homemade Ice Cream" but I just don't believe it. Sorry Sweet Cups!

A basic shop with cupcakes, homemade ice cream and a yogurt/soft serve bar with toppings you can add t personalize it. Is large and cool inside with several tables as well as outdoor seating on the deck. The young gal working inside was very pleasant and friendly and offered my mom samples of their homemade ice cream. It's served like gelato by the size of little gelato cups and she got a chocolate peanut butter flavor that she absolutely loved. Raves about it. We looked in a few of the other ice cream shops in the center but this one had the best flavors and fresh handmade ice cream. The cupcakes were large and looked delicious with about 7 flavors. We didn't purchase any of the cupcakes though. I recommend on a hot day.

Yelp should probably combine this listing with Corolla Cupcakes since they're in the same space, but whatever. I could do it, but I'm too lazy.Sweet Cups is the froyo portion of the store, and it was deeeee-licious. It's the kind you self-serve out of a machine and pay by the ounce, so you definitely get more than you thought you were filling. The salted caramel and mint cookie were both really good. They also have a topping station that's also self-serve (they're so sneaky), with whole pieces of candy for some of them! They also have healthier toppings like fruit.There are a couple of tables inside, and they have a really nice bathroom.

Vanilla Chocolate and strawberry frozen yogurt heaven! Quick clean friendly. Get a cup cake,dipped ice cream, or self serve frozen yogurt .65 cents an ounce for self serve fo yo. Beach town life yes

The frozen yogurt from Sweet Cups was just okay. Definitely not worth the amount of money you will spend for the yogurt and toppings. Most of their flavors were out of service leaving chocolate and vanilla and a few other random flavors. Their ice cream looked a little better than the frozen yogurt, but still expensive. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little off, we went around 9 pm, and they barely had any lights on inside the store at all, which just struck me as very odd.

Ice cream was delicious as well as the peanut butter cupcake. Prices are a little steep but their treats are so good.

Cupcakes and scooped ice cream were bland...almost flavorless. The froyo was better, mainly because of the topping variety. Premium prices should bring more flavor. Won't come back.

Sweet Cups and Corolla Cup Cakes are together in the same building. You can get ice cream, frozen yogurt, or cupcakes. There are 8 different flavors of frozen yogurt, approx 12 different flavors of ice cream, and cupcake choices. Prices are on the high end but to be expected considering location. My biggest complaint was customer service! The two ladies working behind the counter were not inviting or helpful. If you ask for sample cup to try frozen yogurt they almost seem put out. We did not dare to ask for any ice cream samples. Upon the kids choosing their ice cream, we stood waiting for 5 minutes. I had to ask did you scoop the ice cream yet. Guess it was sitting behind the counter. I had to ask can I pay? Upon trying to paying the two ladies were talking to each other, seemed as if they were taking about us because we asked for our ice cream. I was never offered or given a receipt. Aside from customer service store front and interior is very clean. Seating is available inside and out. Trash can are located inside- no trash cans outside on the patio.

So delicious! The cupcakes weren't too sweet and were very moist and fluffy. The ice cream was so smooth and creamy. I would totally recommend it!

Watched the staff allow someone who wasn't working to taste all the ice cream with the same spoon. I'm no food expert but I think this would violate food safety rules.
