Listen, this used to be VANG'S (a sushi food truck back then) and I've been following them since 2020, so they do pop ups at various places and I would go...just for the sushi!!! So as soon as I found they got the location at the oceanfront, I just HAD to go whenever the opportunity, which was tonight...So right now, I'm currently drinking a Never Ending Story (on my second one) and it's FANTASTIC!!!So I ordered my usual, the spicy tuna and the Blood Moon, and OMG, the ingredients are fresh and it just melts in your mouth, it STILL doesn't disappoint...so if you want great sushi, THIS IS THE ONE!!

Great atmosphere and an easy place to go alone. Food and drinks were great especially for the price. Bartender was attentive and kind ! Also love that they offer perfume in the bathroom, nice touch

Great date night spot! Cocktails and sushi are so reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with any of the rolls. The service is always great, delicious local restaurant!

Strolled in at night for some legit sushi that was highly recommended by a bunch of friends of mine. I love the theme of the rolls and mixed drinks. Terminator Tataki was to die for! So delicious! Cobra Kai was by far my favorite roll! Service was top notch, highly recommend this place. Looking forward to next time so can definitely try something new that I'm sure that will make my tastebuds go wild!

I eat out a lot and I had sushi in different places. In my opinion sushi was delicious but it was not something special there was nothing significant for me. It is a great place service was great as well as ambiance but... If you like to have sushi for cheaper price I am sure other places are around .We pay for ambiance just like anything else

This will be the spot of the summer. It's a chill sushi and drinks place. Sometimes you're just in the mood for a few rolls and some drinks; and not a whole fancy sit down. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside there are tables, bar and single window seats for those eating alone. Outside they have water bowls for dogs. It just opened so it is always packed with a 30-45 min average wait time on food. It was almost a 2 hour wait for a table. However, they have great drinks and they accommodated our wait time with free espresso shots. The seemed well staffed and provided great service. The only thing I was upset about was our server forgot to refill our waters. I've been a long time fan of Vang's sushi food truck so I'm glad they finally opened a brick and mortar. Do I even need to talk about the sushi? It's bomb! Everything on the menu is delicious! I know they just opened and still working out a lot of things but I'm sure this will be here for a long time.

This is the newest sushi restaurant at the oceanfront and it is not your ordinary sushi restaurant. It's fun, lively and crowded (in a good way)and not boring. Indoor and outdoor seating, a bar and about 6 tables. We ordered the New Jack Nigeri which came with 2 pieces of tuna and 2 pieces of salmon. Very fresh! I ordered the Miami Vice (crab, cucumber, tuna, avocado and other delicious ingredients) and the Tiger Bomb (tuna, avocado, spicy crab salad and other fresh, delicious ingredients) My husband stuck with the basic rolls....spicy tuna, spicy salmon. It was all so good and fresh! I am definitely going back! Staff was slammed but still friendly and attentive. Brie was our waitress and was wonderful. It's oceanfront so most likely you will have to park in the garage across the street. It's free and an easy walk.

Very disappointed. We've been to sushi vice several times and recommended it to countless people. The service was not friendly or attentive. We had to ask several times to order food and drinks, in addition to waiting long to do so. The food was edible and that is it. Well not even because the tempura batter was stale. Everything had eel sauce on it with no other prominent flavors and the sushi rolls were extremely tiny. The size of a bottle cap or smaller, very different than what they portray on their instagram. I understand if the basic rolls are small(er) and plain but when you pay $12-15 per roll, you expect it to be substantial. But even the basic spicy tuna roll was half the size of what we remember and just covered in siracha. They seem to just be cutting corners, which is sad because the vibes and food used to be quintessential VB. We will not be back.
