Super Wings

You need a OBX t-shirt this place has it! Shot glass, beach stuff yep! It is a super warehouse for souvenirs and more! It is cheap and the quality may not be the best but what do you expect for a bargain. Girls at the register weren't the friendliest but they were quick and Efficent. There's one of these stores frequently. After labor supposedly everything is 50% off.

My son, daughter-in-law and grandgirl took me here while on vacation first week of June. Lots to see, large selection of tshirts and beach attire. So many fun touristy knickknacks and such. Great unisex sweatshirts and hoodies. They have children through adult sizes.

These stores are all over OBX. Forgot a towel? Super Wings has it. Bikini bottoms got torn off in the rip current? Super Wings has you covered ;-) Need a souvenir? Super Wings has it.Chairs, sweatshirts, t-shirts, keychains, surf/boogie boards... these stores are huge and have tons of souvenir OBX items for interested tourists, all at a nice price.

3.5 stars rounded up. Typical beach gear shop like you find at most beaches. Super Wings has a lot of locations and they had one right by where we stayed. They have a ton of merchandise and really fair prices. We made a last minute decision to leave the mountains, where we had been staying, and head for OBX in a Jeep. All of our beach gear (chairs, towels, umbrellas, canopy) were at home in Indiana. Super Wings came to our rescue! We were able to get some chairs, beach umbrellas, and towels at reasonable prices.I rounded up because I scored on flip flops. I wear a size 5 in women's and it's nearly impossible to find shoes in-store anymore in my size. (I have to buy a lot online.) My other half told me to check out the flip flops, and low and behold, they had a sh*t ton of them in my size! They had some of the same ones in kids cheaper, so I bought some in the kids sizes for less (exact same shoe). I ended up with six pairs of flip flops in multiple colors. They were cheap at $7, $8, and $9 a piece. I brought by Nike and Under Armour flip flops on the trip with me and these at Super Wings felt as good and well made at those and I didn't pay 1/3 of what I paid for the name brands. I won't need any flip flops for a long time after this score. I had to round up for this reason. The staff at this location wasn't too friendly or helpful, but after my haul with the gear and shoes I didn't give a damn; I didn't need any help anyway.

im from out of town so i really wanted to buy some souvenirs. they have a huge selection but the store isnt very neat or well kept. worst of all, some of the merchandise they sell is horribly inappropriate & rude!! gross!!!

I know these stores are everywhere, but this particular store had really cheap deals! Everything really was half off. We bought great thanks for $5, joggers for $10 that were great quality, nets for the kids for $4.50, everything was a great deal. The cashier was very Friendly, which is super rare. I will add we liked that they played for king & county (a band) while we were there, it's nice to be out with kids and not hear nasty music.

3.5 stars...If you're looking for OBX souvenirs there's no better selection that at one of the countless Super Wings shops. If you're looking for beach gear like boogie boards or beach chairs their selection is also big but their prices are too high unless there's a sale going on. I ended up with a cool shot glass for only $3 and a great t-shirt for only $11. I would have been wiling to spend twice that on both items.

Boogey boards, towels, novelty tees, and a few kites. This one also sells fireworks. Bigger than some of the other stores, and again, the 50% off after labor day brings the prices closer to what the items are actually worth.

If you want cheap quality, this is the store to go to. Same thing if you want to buy cheap "touristy" items with an OBX decayed on, again this is the place To go. I forgot my sun visor at home, and wanted something cheap to wear. It only had to last a week, so wasn't too picky. I found a really cute sun visor--the only one in the store--and it cost me $15! Dollars! No price tag on it until the very bored cashier rang it up. Needless to say, I packed it up carefully for the trip home and I'm still using it--3 years later. I guess $5 ain't too shabby.

A really good place to get Outer Banks things. They have a very wide selection of clothes and beach items,it's a big store, and the staff are very inviting and friendly.
