Super China

I used to always eat here with my family, but we stopped. Since I was craving Chinese food, I decided to order from here. Why not? I ordered the honey chicken with white rice. The meat was crunchy but soft, and the glaze was sweet, but not too sweet. The rice was nice and soft and I like that it sticks together so it's easy to pick up and eat. This restaurant always serves up good meals!

So let's just start off with this pandemic has us all lacking Chinese food at the moment so when I dialed the 10th number in my area and seen Super China open I was ESTATIC :'D I ordered general tso chicken which is safe to me. Either you got the right sauce or you don't & boy, do they!!! Now of course I would've love for it 2 have been extra crispy, but due to having to pick it up, it got a little soggy but not soggy as In gross just soggy as t had been in the container vs served out hot on a plate -yadda ya- the rice could've been a little steamed more; ordered regular plain chicken wings (unpictured) they were a little too hard could've been more batter. Son killed it like the last supper so there ya have that. Garlic wings for the papa bear and he loved them. Win win during this pandemic :P

Quick lunch break.I stumbled across this location looking for a place to have lunch. Walked in and placed an order of baby fried shrimp with shrimp fried rice, a order of crab Ragoon, and a soda. I dined in and the food came out piping hot less ten minutes delivered right to my table. Looked great at the first sight, tasted just as great when I dug in. Large portions for the $12.00* price point I paid. Fresh and fulfilling. Not much of decor inside but who cares when your food was that perfect. I do recommend trying my first experience was wonderful. Great staff, great food, great prices.

First and last time here . I ordered wings they gave be 4 baby wings for 7 dollars I'm mean they look like wingettes then I ordered lo main in the shit is dry so dry the noodles are sticky I had to add water and season wen I got home ! Smh if u love it here, u haven't had some real Chinese food !

Super China is solidly in our takeout rotation. The best deal is the family meal (pick 4) and they are quickest when you order for pickup. They are great with specific requests and the food is good. Keep in mind, the portions are big so you'll always have leftovers!

In my opinion Newport news has some of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at. Because I like the flavor and all I still go to them but I keep it simple. For the most of the year I have been going to super China. Mon night I ordered spare ribs, they tasted old and had brown sauce on them to moisten them. It spilled all over the bag because it was in a styrofoam container instead of the little red foil bags most places use. It also wet my chicken wings up which always taste like they just throw them in hot grease with no flour or batter. Their Buffalo wings are the worst. I also ordered shrimp fried rice. It was white and had no flavor, the tiny shrimp taste like can shrimp. The presentation was horrible. My whole bag was wet with the nasty juice. Never again will I go there.

This place has fantastic Chinese food its allways been good and friendly works they do need a little remodeling but everything else is fantastic I would recommend the Chicken and broccoli yum. 4.5 stars. - mason alexander

My wife and I have been looking for a good quality Chinese Restaurant since moving to Newport News from the West Coast, We discovered a few mediocre but not Really Good Chinese Restaurants in town, The Buffets forget about it. Found a few very good Vietnamese Pho houses. Super China is strictly take out, it's a small business in Oyster Point Square on Jefferson Avenue and is close to the Food Lion Market. We ordered a Pint of Vegetable Fried Rice, a Quart of Vegetable Chow Mein, A Quart of Vegetable Egg Foo Yung, a Large order of Boneless Spare Ribs (For Me) an order of Fried Cream Wonton. We got home and discovered the Chow Mein wasn't there, I wasn't charged for it so I wasn't really upset about it, probably a misunderstanding when ordering, but the food was very satisfactory and delicious, well made and perfectly packaged with all of the condiments. I recommend Super China for anyone looking for good Chinese Food at a fair price, we'll be returning.

Food is fantastic...I have never had anything bad here. The customer service is great. I justPicked up an order and the guy was SO patient with an elderly customer who came in. You don't usually see this at Chinese restaurants like this where there isn't a lot of customer service involved. Definitely myNew go to!

Best Chinese place there is. Always good service!! And good prices. I've been coming here for over 8 years and they never disappoint. 10/10
