Sundae Scoop

I had a sweet tooth and was looking for something new so I called to check on the flavors of vegan ice creams and the ingredients, the guy that answered was extremely helpful. The staff inside was awesome very welcoming and super clean environment. The ice cream is delicious, I will definitely be back!

As a dairy intolerant sweet tooth girl, I 100% approve this place for amazing, creamy vegan options and a vegan waffle cone! I didn't realize they had so many options. The day I went they were heavily advertising their sorbets on their flavor board as the dairy free options. I tried one but I wasn't feeling it. I really wanted something creamy... and I got exactly what I wished for. The person working brought out the goods once I told her that I'm dairy free. She said, "oh we have chocolate and butter pecan"... I said I want both! lol. Then, I was amazed that she offered to make me a vegan waffle cone!!!! Because wow! I wasn't expecting that. I ended up getting a vegan waffle bowl. It was lovely to watch the process of my waffle bowl being made. I got 0 toppings because I didn't want any. But I loved my vegan waffle bowl so much that I crumbled it on top of my scoops! The scoops are huge... so generous... and I hope that never changes. lol. My vegan choices were super creamy and you couldn't even tell you were eating dairy free ice cream because the texture was very similar to regular ice cream. Trust me, I've had my fair share of vegan ice creams and they don't always impress like Sundae Scoop did during my visit!!!Additionally, the vibes in here are absolutely my style. The artwork is exactly what I'd be hanging up in my home. It's the Tupac portrait for me.I've been raving about this place on my food blog on IG and to everyone I've been talking to lately. You've definitely got to visit soon. :)

It has been over a year since Sophia and I stopped by. The previous visits have been really good with ice cream made just right. Since we were in the area, it made sense to catch up and see how things were going.When we walked in, it wasn't a lot of foot traffic. And the decor was kept neat and clean. Even though there weren't a lot of customers, the staff seemed ready to serve. I chose a single scoop of salted caramel butter pecan in a waffle cone. Very good stuff. The ice cream itself wasn't overly sweet. The cone was a little hard, but good enough to digest. Sophia had ube ice cream in a cone and enjoyed her selection.Once again, another great visit. I do wish they were close by, but nonetheless left satisfied. Till next time :)

ahh refreshing where have I been? the samples as a newbie were great. I absolutely loved the pistachio and cookies and cream flavors on my waffle cone...in LOVE Already. I didn't know this place existed and they've been open since 2021. If you never been here check them out you will not be disappointed!!

It's probably counterintuitive to get ice cream when it's cold, but my family members that live in Norfolk assured me the ice cream here was worth it: they were right!After trying a few free samples, I settled on banana pudding and mint fudge. The mint was so strong and creamy, I could've had it plain and loved all of the intense flavor it provided. The banana pudding had a softer flavor, but still the richness and creaminess was wonderful. They had fresh waffle cones in three flavors, too!The colorful decorations were cute, and I loved the shirts and hats they had available to purchase. The only drawback was the scoops were a bit expensive, but most ice cream places are around the $4/scoop range nowadays, and I'd gladly pay for it again!

Came to check out this local black and veteran owned ice cream shop. The employees were so helpful and nice! They provided samples for us to try and gave us recommendations. We tried the UBE since I love purple & had it on at the time. It was really good, super creamy and rich without being overpowering. Can't wait to go back to try other flavors and their ice cream nachos.

Local gems are the best. This black and veteran owned business specializes in making unique flavors on a rotating basis such as Ube and German chocolate cake. During my visit I bought a scoop of caramel pecan. I liked it so much I purchased a pint to share with the family. I know one thing for sure, if this establishment was around during my high school days it would definitely have been my after school hang out.

This is my favorite ice cream spot! They make their own ice cream! It's delicious & creamy & plenty of variety. The portions are perfect , the waffle cones are fresh and also come in a variety ! Locally owned & operated! Never disappointing. We take everyone who comes to visit from out of town here. They also have a travel ice cream food truck / cart that's been at different events. Love it !

Their ice cream is among the best I've ever had. I tried scoops of Cookie on Cookie, Lemon Cake, Cinnamon Coffee, and Birthday Cake, and each bite was a pure delight. The service was fantastic--they let me sample as many flavors as I wanted before making my choice. The atmosphere was welcoming and the place was very clean. I'm so glad I decided to stop by!
