Really hit and miss. Waited 20 minutes for 4 mimosas and didn't get our food order taken during that time. Almost made us late for my family's next outing but my cousin drives like the wind! Fried Green Tomatoes; AMAZING, best thing we had! Crab Benedict: disappointing Grits: inedibleFrench Dip: DeliciousLobster Bisque: Freaking delicious!!Everything else was fine, but due to the inconsistency we probably won't be back.

Okay so stripers, wonderful view from the decks. The food is always very good. Service is always great. People are always cheerful and smiley the one issue I have and the reason why it's not getting five stars cuz it would otherwise. Is because their portions are criminally small, and I got takeout so maybe it's just a takeout but $50 before tip or anything like that for an order of chicken alfredo when the portion literally would barely fill coffee cup like very small and in order of Mahi bites which again we're good. It's an appetizer and it's mahi so I expected to be small and a little more expensive because of the mahi.

Went for an early dinner before driving across to see The Lost Colony. We arrived around 5:30 and were seated quickly. The staff were friendly enough and service was pretty quick but with the exception of the crab dip, the food was meh. My husband had the crab cakes which were ok but didn't hold together well. I had fried shrimp which you can't really mess up but the seasoning was bland. The coleslaw was good though. There is upstairs and downstairs dining space, so lots of seating and upstairs has a water front view as long as you're not stuck in a far corner like we were.

Took a chance because rating were decent and 4 out of 4 meals we not good. Staff was friendly.

The dinner was mediocre. Our party of five was a little disappointed. Nobody's meal was hot at all. Two ordered fish tacos. One thought they were too spicy; the other liked the spice. Both agreed they were okay. One ordered the Mahi bites and thought they were dry, and he only got a very small amount. One in our group ordered the red snapper. He said it was good but a little heavy on the batter. I needed a break from seafood so I ordered the sirloin. If it was seasoned I couldn't tell. It was tough and lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were cold, but the wonderful waitress heated them up for me. The steamed veggies were great. We enjoyed the desserts, although our ice cream had melted when we got it. If you sit on the 3rd floor, sit outside. It had a beautiful view of the sound.

Had a great Sunday lunch brunch... Avery was fantastic. Loaded Bloody Mary was amazing value, big drink and almost a whole meal. Also shout out to Tim on the dock... always hustling to get folks docked and topped off with fuel. Perfect to get lunch and get gas ( for your boat!).

My family and I stopped in for a quick lunch, and the food was incredible. By far the best lobster bisque I've ever had and something about their fries goodness they were delicious. The view from our table of the sound was beautiful and our service was great. Counting down the days until we can come back!

Worst treatment I have had in a restaurant in my entire life. We had a reservation for 4:30, because we had plans later in the evening. Slow service to get drinks and orders, and then we sat and waited for over an hour. At 5:45, we asked for our meals to go. We were handed bags and told that they contained all but one of our meals. The last meal STILL was not ready.I paid and left, but then discovered that we were missing one of the meals I paid for, and another meal had leaked all over the bag of food, including on my child with a food allergy's meal, rendering it dangerous for him to eat. I went back inside and asked for a partial refund, since they charged me for food we didn't receive and also food my son couldn't eat.The manager or chef, not sure which, then came upstairs and proceeded to yell and swear at me, refuse to give me any money back, and untruthfully said the ticket only said "26 minutes" from when we ordered to the time we got our takeout. Completely false, and I see from other reviews here and on Facebook that this is their MO, to lie about the time on the ticket. When I mentioned my son's food allergy and how he could now not eat his food, she yelled at me that there was no allergy meal in the food we received. His meal was absolutely part of the food we received, so I have no confidence that it was prepared safely in the first place, even though we discussed the allergy with the waitress when I ordered his food.Additionally, a member of my family (whose meal was not ready by the time we had to leave) took their insulin when the waitress told us the food was ready and coming in a minute, 45 minutes before we ended up leaving. If they had not stopped somewhere else after leaving this restaurant and gotten something to eat, this could have turned into a life-threatening blood sugar emergency. So not only was I screamed and sworn at and given terrible service, but this restaurant put not one but two of my family members in serious danger. Unacceptable.

Went at lunch Wednesday not crowded. Food. Good. Service good. Crab soup and oyster soup very good. Had the wahoo fish of day and wonderful. Crab cake sandwich all meat/good. Good stop on way back from aquarium. Will go back

Great local spot! Friendly bartender and patrons. Had the fried grouper sandwich and the honey sriracha shrimp...delicious! Would definitely go back!
