Stooges Bar & Grill

So so spot that comes in handy to wet your your whistle. I will say that the prices at Stooges are dirt cheap, which is wonderful. The place is a no frills, come as you, which is exactly what we were looking for. Also, our bartender was pretty cool and chill. My only (minor) issue with the place was the food. Ok, I was not expecting a Michelin experience (based on the prices), but I was expecting a little better quality of food. I ordered the chicken tacos, which came with fries, that were about $7. I thought it was a bit weird that the cheese was not melted and the tortilla was cold. While I probably would not go out of my way to have dinner at Stooges, I'd probably drop for a beer (or five) and to sing a song or two for karaoke, which occurs every night at 9 pm.

Amanda is awesome ! I love this dive bar but she's probably the reason I'll be back !! So friendly, hospitable and professional.

Active Duty Navy ReviewMy wife brought to this bar along with a couple of my shipmates and their wives. While shooting pool, we asked the bartender for a pitcher of water for our "Sober Buddy." With an attitude, the bartender told me "No, but I could buy a pitcher of beer. I explained the Navy's policy but she denied. I walked back to the pool table furious to witness a white couple enjoying their drinks with a pitcher of water on standby. Disgusted with the bartender's act, the couple offered their pitcher to us. Once it was empty, I brought the pitcher to the bar for a refill and she confiscated the pitcher. The other bartender made my shipmate's drink wrong. When she asked for another, the bartender took the drink in the back (the kitchen) and returned a few seconds later to hand it to her. Very unprofessional. Displayed brute racism towards African-Americans....despite military service. Do not support this establishment!!

I only went here because I kind of know the family owns it. I ordered my food to go, coming in was the first mistake. Smoking is allowed in here, I don't see how they have smoking in a separate room like they're suppose to! I didn't even go to the smoking area and I smelled like smoke and so did the container and the bag my food was in. Unless they make smokers go outside I won't be back.

This place is a total dive bar. Don't go in expecting high end drinks and a lovely ambiance. It's dark, smokey, and they don't even have ginger ale. If you want, they will be happy to make you "ghetto ginger ale," which is sprite with a splash of coke. It works for me when I'm here.There are several pool tables and karaoke every night I think. If you are in the mood for amusement and cheap drinks, this is the place. Personally, I love dark, dingy, and smokey bars sometimes. I've never felt unsafe here and I always have a good time laughing at the karaoke late night.

Was really happy to find that this place does karaoke every night starting at 9pm. I have been to this bar a couple times on the weekend previously and had a great experience. Its Not any place fancy, but i come for the beer, wings,and of course the karaoke! They have a big book of songs (old & new) to choose from. The bartenders are really nice too.However, my experience I had Monday was not as great at the previous times I came. The Karaoke lady behind the bar was really rude and did not seem like she wanted to be there. I don't know her name, but she had a ponytail and looked older. (Def not the same lady from the previous time I was there.)Throughout the night, it was just me and my friends singing. The KJ would play songs we did not request to sing- which happened several times. Every time we told her "Oh, maam.. this isn't the song I wanted to sing", she would rudely say "well thats the number you gave me" and go on to the next person/song. I had 2 beers that night, so I know i wasn't trippin' on some numbers, esp after always double checking before turning my slip that ALSO has the SONG NAME listed BESIDE the song number. So, it was hard for me to figure out where the confusion existed. I has bragged to my friend about how chill and amazing this place was, so i felt a little bad that i toom her here with a grouchy KJ. Anyway, I will definatly come back to this bar bc i always have a good time despite peoples attitude..Hopefully she'll be off that day lol.

Good. Lord. This location is awful compared to the one on Bonney. There was a table full of guys that wouldn't leave us alone and the atmosphere is just so bland. The beer wasn't cold, and there are also bras hanging from the ceiling...not really sure where those come into play but I think I'll keep mine on and keep to the other location.

Hole in the wall. No IPA or top shelf liquor. :-( I'm pretty sure you can get drunk for cheap here if you become a regular.

the alcohol tasted like water, the owner was a douche or gives a rude attitude and the bartender's look so over worked and forgetful and the place looks so rundown and the pool tables are malfunctioning

Fast, consistent, and the people couldn't be nicer. Eat here about 1/2 times a week, and never had an issue.
