Stony’s Dockside Bar and Grill

What an amazing lunch!!!!!We went on a beautiful Saturday to have lunch. I went out on a limb and ordered the shrimp and grits. It was fantastic!!!!!!! Full of flavor, I literally could not stop indulging in it. Pancakes and Chicken sandwich were also delish! Oh and the perfect (from scratch) mojito was the icing on top!

My wife and I decided to visit for a later dinner not far from where we're staying at the Little Creek amphibious space. Not far away, indeed. Seemed to be a nice local spot, a lot of people were leaving with their pizzas. We seated in the bar area. After ordering adult beverages, my wife decided on their Caesar salad while I decided on their seafood chowder and a crabcake sandwich. The seafood chowder was a huge bowl of deliciousness!! I probably didn't need anything else if I would've known the size. The crabcake sandwich was OK. My wife Caesar salad was absolutely huge!. She said she truly enjoyed it as well. Recommend visiting if you're in the area!

I have never ever ordered biscuits and gravy before. I am usually an eggs Benedict kind of girl. But man was this sandwich eye opening!This was their chicken biscuit sandwich with gravy, bacon, and cheese! And it may not be the healthiest thing to get, but I have absolutely no regrets! We have never been here before and were looking for a meet up spot with my bestie who was driving through. And this was Mother's Day, and this place is a hidden gem I feel. We didn't have to wait but 20 minutes if that. They did run out of menus and were a little behind on food and drinks. But we were in no rush so it did not phase us. Kids were content and my bestie and I got to do a lot of catching up. Will definitely be taking family here when they are in town again. It may be a little drive from Chesapeake but worth it!

Went to Stony's for the first time after a day at the beach! Sat outside by the dock and that was great! It was shaded and felt good Despite the hot day! Our waitress was Demi who provided great service. She was fast, friendly, and attentive. My only issue was the price of the food vs the portions. 1 piece of fried flounder and fries for $22 and 6 or so fried shrimp and fries for $28 is crazy. The food was good but not good enough for the price! In today's world with everything being so pricey it has to make sense. I'd say it's worth visiting at least once!

Great location on the water so you can see the boats on a pretty day. The service was also great. We had a 30 minute wait but it went by quickly. Both the waitress and the hostess were really kind. The reason for the 3.5/5 stars was the nachos. They were not good. Zero flavor and highly disappointing. I wish I'd got a picture but I was also dealing with a sleepy hungry toddler who refused to eat the nachos. I mean who doesn't like chips and cheese!?! The she crab soup was good, and worth trying. Looking back I wish I'd got the bang bang shrimp instead.

It's easy to miss this place if you don't know about it but certainly look for it. It seems to be a place the locals know about as the staff know the regulars. There's plenty of parking so no reason not to go. Inside it's very casual but everyone is having a good time. The food is very good, with the she crab soup supposedly the thing to get. It wasn't on the menu so I asked about it. I don't eat seafood but ordered it for my wife (she initially resisted) and she loved it. She also has the strawberry French toast. I had the Diablo burger ( not too hot IMHO) which had great flavor.

Love the restaurant. The owners were delightful and mingled with their patrons. The food was great. Totally enjoyed the experience. Great view and we will return.

Right when you walk in you know you are in a great place. It is right next to a boat dock with plenty of windows overlooking the water. Loved the 80s/90s music that was playing. The staff were all extremely friendly. Our server was fantastic, not allowing us to sit unattended for too long. Our drinks were constantly filled. My daughter had seared tuna. My wife had shrimp and scallop pasta in a vodka sauce. They both loved their dishes. I had lobster bisque and the crab cake appetizer for my meal. The crab cake was amazing. Lightly breaded and Packed with meat. My lobster bisque was very rich, although there was only one piece of lobster meat in it. Maybe that is what a bisque is supposed to be?Overall, it was a great experience and we would go again.

Awesome little spot on the water. We sat outside for lunch- great view of all the boats docked at the marina! There was a college football all game on inside and the outside speaker was extremely loud, but besides that, very good atmosphere. Our server was friendly and attentive. My mom and I ordered the same grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, avocado, mozzarella -it was delicious!
