Star Food Mart/Zeros Subs/Krispy Krunchy Chicken

Definitely rivals pollards chicken ! There is precooked fried chicken or you can order fried or party wing styled chicken fresh and cooked as you order! This place is awesome I had the fried chicken gizzards...sounds weird but totally delicious and worth the 10 minute wait!!! Add sides like mac n cheese , blueberry/honey muffins ,red beans and rice or gumbo(I didn't try). This place is a hot commodity , I can gas up my car, play the lotto and order dinner haha .Life is good

The worst location, they never have anything available and refuse to take call in orders. Owners and employees extremely rude. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes. Also very delayed when utilizing Grubhub, uber eats and DoorDash. Better locations elsewhere with quality customer service.

The chicken was crunchy but tasteless. Never again. Just moved to Hampton and this is the second place I've tried for good fried chicken. The search is still on. Another reviewer stated it rival Pollards Chicken, NO WAY! The honey biscuits left a lot to be desired as well.

Call me crazy but if you say you're open till a certain time, that means you serve all foods until that time. I went in and asked for wings at 8:45. She'd already turned the fryer off. According to Yelp they are open till 10 but according to the worker, they are open till 9...at any rate, I was there before close and the kitchen looked like it had been clean or in the process of being clean for awhile.

I waked in and asked the foreign woman for a 3 pc dark. She prompted me to pay at the cash register as you walk in and so I did just that. After I payed, I walked back over to her and she nonchalantly takes sips from her soda and says "Oh yeah, 3 piece" and bags only 3 pieces of chicken. The combo came with a biscuit. When I asked about the biscuit she responded that she only put 3 pieces of chicken in the bag because the biscuits weren't ready and told me that if I wanted them I'd have to wait 15 minutes. I asked her and the brother working there why I was charged full price for something they did not have and all they could say I'd have to wait 15 minutes. I didn't argue with them but just left the chicken bag by the cash register. Why advertise something (biscuit) that you do not have and charge someone for it and the inconvenience them further by making them wait 15 minutes when it should have been stated before the purchase? The gas is the only thing worthy there. In a nutshell, horrible resolution skills and bad attitudes there. You have been warned.

The food is great but Please Please I advise you to check your food order before you leave. I'm so disgusted that she didn't put my 2 large sides in the bag and it doesn't help that the woman's English is probably only 70% and you don't know if she is only comprehending you at 70%. This has happened to me twice. I'm so disgusted but yeah the chicken and shrimp is very good.
