Sportspage Bar and Grille

I've gone here for some sports games and I'll tell ya it's packed on the weekends here. It's definitely locals spot for all things sports. It has a nice townie feel to the place though. I would lean more toward the sandwiches and burgers here but I thought they had good appetizers as well.

We had no idea where we were while traveling to our AirBnB. Thank God for Yelp (and Waze)! Great little place - good food for a bar and grill! Since I splurged at breakfast with "SOS," I got a nice healthy salad for an early dinner. It was a Santa Fe, with the usualsuspects (I held the tomato and onion) - blackened chicken, beans, cheddar cheese, tortilla strips. The Thousand Island dressing was super good - Im guessing house made?Very, very good! Tender and plentiful chicken and yummy all around. Nice atmosphere and sweet Southern server. I love the "y'all!"The man had a burger and onion rings, that he fancied a lot. (My only turn offs were the semi dirty bathroom and taped up booths).

Managers are Rude staff is all college kids... and not hospitable!!! Like at alll! Don't waste your money, go else where!

Casual and efficient sports bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking, seating outside by the parking lot and inside which is where I like to be. TVs with lots of sports on, decorated with local sports teams from Randolph Macon to Hanover high schools. On the menu you are going to find all the American food you would want, wings, burgers, nachos and my favorite the club. Fries are tasty and plentiful. This is not fine dining but good food quickly with nice people. It is always busy which is a good sign. Fast on the refills and they have a bar section as well. I would recommend if you are looking for American food while keeping up with games.

We stopped in for dinner here after the place we planned to go to was closed. The parking lot was full but we parked across the street. We were seated quickly and got drinks fairly fast. After that, it went a little down hill. It took about 25-30 min to get our order and the waitress only stopped by when I flagged her down. It was crowded due to March madness and Randolph Macon basketball team was planning in a championship game. I had the Chesapeake sandwich which is chicken with crab dip and my wife had a Cuban. Both were typical bar food. Overall, the experience was ok. I would go back but will probably try other places in the area as well

This is a cool little sports bar with plenty of TVs, a full bar, and an extensive menu. They happily accommodated our party of 5 in the middle of the restaurant and put our games on within a few minutes of our request. Our waitress, Susan, was AMAZING. She had the best attitude and never lost her patience with our annoyingly loud group We ordered nachos to start and then split some boneless wings with Carolina Gold sauce. The wing sauce was delicious. The ONLY reason this isn't a 5-star review is because we were disappointed by the nachos. They were topped with a liquid cheese sauce that made the tortilla chips instantly soggy - to the point that we had to use a fork to eat them. They were tasty - just soggy. Overall, we were all very satisfied with everything about our visit and we would go back.

Food tastes good, service is almost too quick as your service person isn't around to see any dissatisfaction. Just fyi the Shrimp Basket only has 6 shrimp which is not enough to call it an Entree.

We used to love this place. We went there tonight 5/20/24 after checking their website saying they were open until 10pm. It was about 8:50 and they told us they were closing and couldn't serve us. We had watched them take another party's order. We could have given our order in about 30 seconds after the other party. I asked for a manager and the waitress told us there wasn't a manager on duty. Don't advertise that you are open until 10pm and then close before 9pm. We really felt the waitress was on the rude side. Only wish we had gotten her name. I work at a local business and when people ask for a good place to eat I usually recommend Sports Page, but don't worry about me recommending them again. They have just lost my business.Cathette Plumer

I like the food and service. Good place to watch a sports game. I been there three time and so far like the Cuban Sandwich.
