Southern Revere Cellars

Found this brewery/winery today and decided to stop in. You have to drive down an unpaved road to get to the building, which looks like an old farm with outdoor and indoor seating.As I wasn't familiar with this place, I asked if their beers or wines were more popular and was told that most people drink the beer. I was able to try a couple of samples before deciding on a 4-5oz beer sampler. The beers were all very different and tasty. My favorite was What the Fox.There was ample seating both inside and outside. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy some beverages with friendly people.

Southern Revere Cellars is a notable craft brewery as it also vints their own wine. Southern Revere Brewery offers a wide range of beers, including IPAs, stouts, lagers, and seasonal brews. Their tasting room is adorned with some taxidermy and has a barn-like feel to it. This is a low-key place that has food trucks often and holds plenty of events.

Hit a lot of places while up in the area camping and attending a concert. This place right here takes top honors. Customer service and the beers were excellent! Great vibe. Will definitely be back. Thank you all!

Had a wonderful day yesterday at Southern Revere. Met up with a group of friends and spent the day in the shade of some lovely trees and sampled some very good beer and wine. Had the BBQ and the vendors and antique cars were fun to look at. The service was great! Only one time did I encounter a line.

There is no cooked food so this is atmosphere, service, and liquid offerings review. Please keep reading. This is a rural establishment yet a hop skip, and a jump from the 64. The owner Dave is down to earth, the beer is cold, wine is nice, the views are so Virginia. There is a resident goose named after a Top Gun character! He walks back-and-forth in front of the lake showing off and the owners have rehomed this guy. There is music. There is space. There are open skies and these photos say it all. Why would someone not come here? Oh as well, the customer service you ask? kindness ! This is not far from Richmond bc it's Louisa. 'Y'all come.

We have asked for glasses and we're told you don't have wine glasses. On several occasions.

What a discovery. We were driving home and still had 3 hours to go. I wanted beer and my bf wanted wine. It's normally the opposite but hey. Today was a switch day. We were surrounded by wineries but something called my name to this spot. He didn't object. I told him it was a brewery. He was a disappointed since he wanted wine. We reach the top of the mountain that as NYorkers makes things look Erie. We just watch Hills have Eyes so we were a little scared. Yelp, we survived!! It was a nice little spot. We walked in and it's like both our prayers were answered. They had beer AND wine flights!! We scored!!We had a flight of each. After our flight we had another glass of wine before we continued our journey. The bartenders was very sweet and welcoming. They have one bathroom inside and one around the outside of the property. Plenty of parking once you reach the mountain. Don't let look deserve you. This is a really nice place to stop to enjoy the view and the drinks. Seems it was a local spot which is what I enjoy the most when I travel.

What a fun spot and awesome venue! Great selection of both beers and wines which works well for my hubby and I. We like variety and options and STC definetly has them with 16 beverages on tap!Farm Foods Truck was awesome as well with both smoked pork and chicken sandwiches, slaw and Mac/Cheese to offer. Belly warming on a cold day. Helped soak up some of that 9.0% brew . Tee hee Even brought a growler home for the games this afternoon!

Beer and wine selections. They were great. I do believe they are working on the atmosphere outside but it is a nice place and the service was good.

Good wine and beer, decent food truck, and adequate atmosphere. Interesting venue and relatively convenient.
