Southern Maid Donuts

I've been here a few times and everyone is just so inviting and welcoming. Today it was just me and one other customer in the lobby and all the employees were chatting and making small talk and jokes with us. Very cute little place. And the donuts are amazing. I've been there before and had a breakfast sandwich made of a donut. Literally a sandwich to of art. Today they urged me to get the s'mores donut. I believe the owner (?) was trying to encourage me to get a Philly cheesesteak pastry and I may have, except I had more of a sweet tooth today. Whatever breakfast cravings you have, I'm pretty sure this place has you covered.

Fabulous donuts, the apple fritters are the best. Great little shop with friendly staff and quick service. We also got the donut sandwiches and thought they were wonderful.My parents always stop in and take fritters home with them when they visit.

Their cake donuts are the BEST. The service is always friendly and helpful. I always try to stop by when I'm around.

Tasty treats! Fresh! Helpful, pleasant staff!!! I get them n the apple fritters never stay in our house very long! Especially now that I encourage my hubby to warm them up a tiny bit! Now can't keep him away from them!

Service was amazing! Donuts were pretty good but didn't stand out to me as special. I love all of the Bible Verses around the restaurant.

I only tried the regular glazed and the fritters. The glaze has a nice strong (not too strong) flavor that almost conceals the fact that the donuts themselves are lacking something. Ive had better at discount store bakeries, tbh. The apple fritters have almost no detectable apple flavor. They taste like cinnamon rolls. Won't be going be back.
