First let me say, service is SLOW. One hour from seating to food arriving. Server was so nice and trying hard, but more than a few items required one or two repeats, reminders and corrections. It was not busy but the server was really struggling. My iced tea was cloudy and bitter like the bottom of a tea dispenser that needed to be cleaned. So I settled for water. If you have ever seen my reviews I take away a star for bad or non existent unsweet tea, because if an eatery can't manage unsweet tea they will never have 5 stars from me.Now let me say, my family who lives nearby loves this place because they love to meet friends and sit for long periods talking. So the extreme slowness is no issue for them. The take out business also seems brisk. The food is really good, large portions and very reasonably priced. Some items are an incredible deal, like 2 slices of pizza, as big as half a pizza, and a drink for $6.99. The atmosphere is very casual; a few tables and booths, some high tops and a bar. The total for 3 lunch specials, a child's meal and a dessert was about $55 plus tip. I left 2 hours after I arrived and my party remained to socialize. So at the end of the day, good food, good price, good place to hang with friends, s. l. o. w. service, easy in and out parking, makes this a place to check out when you have time on your hands and you are hungry for good pizza and Italian fare.

I've lived less than half a mile from this little jewel and had never eaten there until this past weekend. I'm disappointed I waited so long because this place was very good. I went with a few folks after church. There were six of us. The restaurant was clean and we were the only patrons there for the duration of our meal. It is decorated with pretty little pictures, and as is typical of many local restaurants, there was a sporting event on tv. The service was very good with the server being attentive but not lingering. And the best part was the food! A few of our party ordered pizza which looked delicious. I ordered an eggplant dish and it was superb. The portions are very large and everything was cooked to perfection. I'm looking forward to going back and taking my kids.

I visited this establishment with some friends on a Sunday. This is a pretty basic pizza place with I may have driven by 100 times and never stopped in. The interior is just like most inexpensive Italian restaurants, nothing special but OK. They do have a reasonable parking lot and getting in and out was not an issue. Service was courteous and efficient, not overly friendly. I will give points that with a group the drinks and food orders came out with no errors and so did the separate checks-not an easy trick. They have a decent range of offerings on the menu. I had a large New York sub with small fries and iced tea. The sub was good...actually very good, the fries were just OK (warm but kinda limp) and the ice tea was actually kind of bitter and sugar may not have helped. Now for what I got the price was more than fair, so again some points given. What were any major negatives? A plastic sword stuck through my sandwich broke in half, and lucky for me I found the sharp pointy end first, then the sword handle part. I was going to complain, but noticed the other half of my sandwich did not have a sword. Was this an error, did they forget, who knows? I wondered how they would replace or recoup that error...make another sandwich? Get another broken plastic sword? Jeeze Louise! Let essay my enthusiasm lowered the more I was there plus I did not want to embarrass the folks that invited me who really like the place. In sum, if I lived nearby I could see being a frequent patron (they do a lot of take out), but would I drive out of my way...most likely not.

Came in today for some lunch, ordered the calzone with pepperoni and spinach. Food came out hot!, in a reasonable time, basically the time it took to prepare and cook, service was as it should be. The dipping sauce was very flavorful, the spinach and cheeses all tasted very fresh. The dough was cooked perfectly. Would definitely stop here again.

Friendly, chatty waitress. Took about 15 minutes for her to "brew" the hot water for the tea. 15 minutes for the fried mushrooms (good marinara). Another 20 minutes for the salad (good Greek dressing) and bread (pretty rolls)- Rastafarian chef didn't seem rushed, the other kid I glanced fiddling with pizza boxes.Another 20 minutes for eggplant parmesan (huge portion- tasty) and linguini with white clam sauce (90% cream, no detectable wine, rare clams, no seasoning).I don't like giving poor reviews. In their defense, the power went out and it took a while to relight the pilots. I would've paid the same for a smaller portion (they were large) of better quality. They do seem to have a take-out following. Maybe a smaller menu with higher quality would help them.

I kept looking at their reviews and they were pretty decent so I finally gave them a try. When I pulled up around 730pm on a Saturday night and only saw one car pulling up my food radar went up.As a kid going to any restaurants or fast food places mom always said if the tables are filled or you have 2 wait in line, that's an indication the food Is good. Ok so I go in apparently on the wrong side and a man in chef clothes gave a warm greeting but the waitress continued to engage in texting on her phone and ignored me. Finally she looked up and said something silly, got my pizza and took me on the other side. She rang me up and said I didn't need to sign but I could write in a tip.Why would I tip u. Awkward! I picked up my own order, and didn't dine in.Okay okay the food. I only ordered a small pizza with 3 toppings. The crust was razor thin which I do not like. Too crackling and crunchy. The ingredients pepperoni, and sausage seemed pretty good quality but the spinach looked like it was right out of a can or maybe frozen. Ive never see that before. If I ever went there again I would definitely try an entree and not a pizza.

The Stromboli was incredibly good, albeit extremely large. I can eat a lot and I still had get a to-go box to take home about half of it. Prices were good and I received an additional 10% off for being a CNU student. The waitress was very sweet and loved to make small talk. I've never seen more than 3 groups of people at once in the restaurant so it is normally very quiet.

Sorry if this is a long review. Last week, my wife and I had lunch there, one of many times. When we left, only our waitress, the cook, and one customer at the bar were there. We got home, we live 30 miles away, and my wife realized she had forgotten her purse. She called the restaurant and the person answering said it had not been turned in. She called again an hour or so later and was told the owner had it, locked in the safe, and she could pick it up the next day. The next day she went and picked up her purse. Money was the only thing missing, and it was a lot of money. The owner told her that he would review the store cameras and to please not initiate a police report until then. He said he would "make good" on her loss and wanted to keep a good business reputation. Said he had family working there and did not want to think they would steal. Later that day he called my wife and said he saw, on his video, his waitress remove the purse from the booth and take it to the back. Said he would talk to her and to not file a police report until he had a chance to make it good. The next day, he called again, said he saw nothing on the video, and to go ahead and file a police report. We are waiting on the response from the police investigation.
