Smashers Burgers & Fries

Food is tasty. Service is average. Not much to compete with in the area. Better than other fast food. A good small business.

Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness! Smash burgers. I have seen videos of people making smash burgers. I have been stalking Cape Charles social media pages and learned of a new food truck. They were conveniently located on Mason Avenue near Bay Avenue. We placed our order and waited patiently... well tried too. We were excited to try them. They had a short line when we went and our burger and fries were made fresh. I ordered a single with extra cheese and a large fry. I loved the crispy outer parts of the burger. It was perfect! I'm so sold on these burgers! They had so much flavor as well. The onions and sauce were a perfect touch. The hand cut fries were a wonderful touch. They had ketchup packets and malt vinegar for the fries. The buns for the burger were great as well. The pricing was also great. No complaints. I love how simple they kept things. Just burgers and fries and beverages. The craft sometimes gets lost when you start adding multiple items. If you are looking for a good burger, this is it!

Food was amazing, loved the smasher style sauce with grilled onions and pickles cheese....fries are thin and cook crunchy.. awesome. owner came by to greet us which was delightful.

This was our 2nd year trying Smashers, and it was even better than we remembered! The burgers are cooked to perfection, and the sauce is dynamite. The fries are fresh cut, and delicious. Your food is cooked to order, but wait time is very reasonable. You can't beat a delicious burger on the beach! Bonus that it's run by a young entrepreneur and his friends! This will always be a stop during our Cape Charles vacations!
