Favorite breakfast spot. We stopped in because egg heads was slammed and what a great choice! The food reminds me of the old school pops restaurant on the yorktown side. Great country breakfast. Amazing service and kid friendly. Exceeded our expectations and we will be returning.

Having visited this little place for the first time is with mixed ratings. After viewing the on-line menu before arriving I had my mind set on the club sandwich. But the menu given was completrly different. We watched other diners being served this extraordinary dish called "The Spaghetti Combo" Take a gander at the pictire.....its HUGE. After seeing the ingredients, we went for it. Meatballs, Italian sausage, green pepper, mushrooms, onions, meat sauce, baked with mozzarella. Sounded wonderful. I'm not one for spaghetti swimming in sauce, but that's what I got. The ratio was like 3 to 1; sauce to pasta with the other Ingreadients mixed in. The sauce was strong with tomato paste and tasted like a bit of cumin (not my favorite). I couldn't enjoy it due to those factors. It appears their hours have changed as well. From a breakfast joint with retro aspects to an afternoon/evening fare. It doesn't appear they offer breakfast throughout any longer, which I will miss. Opening hours are posted as 3:00pm to 9:00pm and closed on Mon-Tues. I'm hoping for the best and hoping the first menu I saw will return. The other folks I was with were pretty happy with their choices; flounder & shrimp, the Wild Thing, another order if the Spaghetti Combo of which they thoroughly enjoyed. In my humble opinion the wait staff was more Tham as amiable and helpful except for keeping the table clear and service of drinks. A few prompts by us met with immediate attention. We were even offered a complimentary sample of their homemade vegetable soup. It was very pleasing and very enjoyable. Whereas I was not t totally satisfied I will definitely return to sample more of their menu items. But I must add as a postdate, THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH. There is an ATM on site so no worries. Which reminds me to comment on reasonable prices, and they have several specials on a daily basis. Portion a are pretty large and doggie bags are a frequent carry out.

The ambiance and aesthetics of this place is that of a old town diner. The service is a flip of the coin and depends on who you get. One of the taller girls was rude and off putting but one of the shorter girls was pleasant and attentive. The food is okay, nothing to rave about. This place only accepts cash and has a atm inside.

Muy delicioso!!! Our place for breakfast on the weekends. The meatlovers omelet is huge, and the Belgian waffles are huge.

We went for the prime rib on Saturday evening. We were greater by the owner as we entered and seated right away. We decided to order the large cut of prime rib and share it. There was more than enough for two people. It comes with two sides so we ordered two baked potatoes. They brought us an extra plate and when I asked for sour cream and horseradish to make a sauce they happily brought both. Our server was extra nice! They were cleaning the kitchen as we left and they were scrubbing it top to bottom! My only complaint is that they do not take credit or debit cards! We have had to pass them by several times because we don't carry cash!

This is my third time trying this restaurant. Every time I have tried it they do not have most menu items available. The service is subpar due to the constant change of staff and miss communication. Today as I was eating my breakfast, putting jelly on my toast I noticed mold on my toast. The coffee was watered down and multiple shells in my eggs. I normally don't write bad reviews of places but after three visits of poor food, service and now moldy food it is justified.

If you like food that is like good home cooking this is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Quick to get in and out and the service is attentive. Portions are large and they will customize your order. Nothing fancy, but always clean and the food is tasty.

The food and service are great. Huge portions. Pancakes are the size of a hubcap. Steak and eggs delicious. Biscuits and gravy yum. Haven't had 1 complaint in all of our many trips. Best of all is the service. Alley takes time to make sure the orders are correct and everyone is satisfied. Coffee cups kept full. Can't get any better.

Great place. Portions are huge and great food I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.

I have been here before and the place was not to bad in my opinion, but 5/28/23 I went around when they were about to close and it seemed like everything was rushed and the waiter was not very attentive and we got these pancakes that were undercooked and they gave us a new one which was very thoughtful, but the next day me and my girlfriend both woke up with foodpoisioning and we have been stuck in bed all day. it had cut into former plans all because they couldn't of cooked a pancake for a couple minutes more.
