Simple Eats is a great little breakfast spot, with a welcoming, laid-back vibe. From the moment I walked in, I loved the cozy atmosphere, with walls full of artwork from local artists that you can actually buy. It really adds to the charm and makes the space feel like part of the community. The whole place has a beachy, relaxed feel, perfect for a slow Sunday morning.I ordered the garden omelet with egg whites, which was packed with fresh veggies and cooked just right. It was light but still filling, and the flavors were super fresh. It came with a buttery, flaky biscuit that was absolutely delicious and crispy home fries that had the perfect amount of seasoning. I also added a little Speedy Hot Sauce, a local favorite, and it gave everything a nice kick without overpowering the flavors.To go with my meal, I had their cold brew, which was smooth, strong, and exactly what I needed to start my day. The service was quick and friendly, and I really appreciate how they focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It's clear they put a lot of care into their food, and it makes a difference.If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in Virginia Beach, Simple Eats is definitely worth checking out. Took a couple clients there for lunch. We hit it on the right day. They had fresh rockfish which was to die for very very happy.

Great farm to table, local restaurant. We were a group of 6 and it was easy to accommodate with large tables available. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming, answered questions and provided suggestions. Portion size was just right as everyone cleaned their plates. I had the shrimp and grits- just okay as I like mine a bit creamier and a bit more...$24 was a steep price. It is always good to eat local when traveling.

Simple Eats is our new go-to for amazing locally sourced food and a creative cocktail menu that is both authentic and spectacular. This was kind of a rediscovery as it's been a couple years since I was last here. And what a refreshing rediscovery it was. I had some of the most delicious BBQ served with fresh coleslaw and homefries. My wife's Turkey Apple Brie sandwich was the star of the show. The bread was absolutely incredible!!! We topped off the meal with the best banana bread pudding a la mode ever! The only thing better than the food and cocktails is the service. Friendly, efficient and fun! Great breakfast and lunch and open until 8 on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner. We were also told that Saturday and Sunday brunch tends to be crowded, so plan ahead with reservations if possible. (Waiting at the bar for a table isn't a bad option though )

Amazing food, completely local atmosphere and amazing service. Very unique menu items, and homemade cakes & puddings. Way better than any other local restaurant we've been to for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommended.

I love this place! Shocked it doesn't have a 5 star rating so I'm feeling compelled to review! Such a hidden gem for brunch. They take reservations, have mimosa flights, reasonably price and the food is so fresh and tasty. Have always had a positive experience at Simple Eats!

You can not go wrong here. One of our favorite local spots! The coastal-beach y decor is welcoming and the service is like have a meal at your friends house. They are all so very nice. Everything on the menu is delicious just hard to decide so you will just have to return. One time, I thought there was an error on my bill and I send a message after hours on their Facebook page. To my surprise, the owner messaged me back right away and cleared up my misunderstanding! She was so nice and I was impressed with her quick response and customer service.

Just go!!!You won't be disappointed!!Everything is perfect. They even redid their parking lot which used to be really terrible

Delicious pancakes, eggs and fantastic blackened tuna salad. Kid friendly. Excellent for all meals. Fast and friendly service

Beach bar atmosphere but this is five star food when you finally get it. This is a farm- to-table high quality food.
