Shun Xing Chinese Restaurant

Probably some of the worst food I have ever been served. The chicken in the chicken and broccoli was slimy, almost like it has soaked in some sort of tenderizer. It had the texture of fat, but the grain of chicken breast. It was truly a disgusting sensation to behold. It took me three bites to throw the meal away. The fried rice was almost worse than the chicken. There are no veggies in the fried rice, which is actually just steamed roce died yellow. I'm not one to leave a bad review, but this place is dangerously bad. They should be shit down.

Let's talk about the food firstly, the food was great. I had no issues with the taste of the time it took to prepare it. My only concern was the fact that no one in the establishment was wearing PPE, especially a mask inside the cooking area. The employees were freely conversing and going about with their day with no concern but had a sign outside the door that customers wear masks. They did however provide a bottle of hand sanitizer on a desk where you place your food order.

I missssss your food so much!! I need teriyaki chicken #goawaycoronavirusBut for real. Their food is hands down the best. Me and my husband got to go from there at least once a week. Sometimes more. I highly recommend their teriyaki chicken it's the best around town. And the crab Rangoons are phenomenal!

Well just wanted to let you guys know it is not safe to eat here I order shrimp and broccoli for dinner I ate the first shrimp and second it I tasted like for little funny the their shrimp was really bad they are using really old food I tried calling them to let them know however the lady put me on hold and never came back I will definitely not come back please be careful of eating old shrimp.

I've ordered here several times for "working lunches" at my job. I've placed orders for 15-20 people at a time for pick-up. I really appreciate that they put the individual names of each person on each container. Service is always super friendly and accommodating. I forgot to order extra fried noodles for soup (you get a free pack with your soup, but have to pay for extras) this last time and asked if I could have a few extra packs when I got there. The lady was like "no problem! We take care of our customers". She threw a bunch in the bag for no charge. I like that their fried noodles taste homemade, and not the crappy hard ones out of the bag. This is my favorite place for hot and sour soup. I've searched far and wide! All the food has been delicious... Everyone at work has only had good things to say. The General Tsos Chicken is a hit in my book as well. All of my experiences here have been pleasant and tasty. I wish it was closer to my home so I could make this my own goto Chinese joint for ordering takeout.

I have eaten here on multiple occasions. The food has always been at least good. The last time I went for lunch it was incredible (must've gotten it super fresh but holy smokes it was good, if they could do that every time I would thrive on this place (and probably die within a year)). I usually order general tsao chicken combo, and get their tea they sell in foam cups both are generally good to very good. Kung pao chicken is good, and is a good option if you want chinese but want to feel healthier... It just tastes healthier lol. Crab rangoons are always quality. Realistically on average this place is a 4 1/2 star a majority of the time. (Jade Garden in VA beach on general booth is #1 in my opinion, but too far away from me for a quick eat in) therefore this is my go to landing in 2nd place. The place is just like any other chinese place as far as design and cleanliness. It's not a 5* eat in restaurant, it is a go pick up chinese food and watch a movie and have a night in restaurant. Go get you some general tsao chicken!

I would give no star if possible. The General Tso chicken was overcooked and greasy. I ate 4 pieces of it and stomach became upset. I went back to return it and cook became irate. A friend said she was there one evening and saw 2 roaches. I remember smelling bug spray in dirty bathroom. The health inspector needs to drop in and check this place. I will never go again

The fried rice was the only thing edible not worth $15 at all there was only onion in the egg foo young and it was tasteless powdered egg ....

warning to all, toxic waste... This food is disgusting, the general Tso, chicken, taste fishy, the egg foo young brown sauce was runny, and very salty The egg rolls were undercooked, if you value your life, you would steer clear don't even come near with a 12 foot pole.

The business has made many modifications for COVID precautions. The food was hot and delicious! We were very excited that the food was made with no msg! Highly recommend this for great food!
