OMG! This is the BEST DINER EVER! The restaurant is so cute and the waitresses are amazing so kind and friendly and so sweet and fast and best service! Absolutely amazing incredible they amazing unbelievable and I only been here once I am definitely coming back here again again! Make sure you give the staff lots of tips and the food is absolutely fantastic made to order and so yummy and fresh made and delicious it is so cute how decorated it is and I come down to Williamsburg a lot and come with friends family for any occasion! Love it so much amazing the BEST! Deserves award for best restaurant ever and mind blowing and unbelievable place and food and service! The waitresses are so sweetest and best kind and social and inviting and relaxing and fun and seriously come down have fun and relaxing meal and drink with friends family and etc. Thanks so much forLauren

Not at all happy about looking at a menu showing one price and then getting the check for a lot higher price.I know that eggs are expensive, but they didn't put a note on the menu.The waitress said they put the notice on the door.I checked and it was on the door inside the dark tinted window of the front door as you exit the restaurant.I have been there quite often, but the food this time was not very good compared to my previous dining experience.

Very poor experience at Shorty's today! No opportunity to even try their food as the cook WALKED OUT mid-morning on a busy Sunday! Our party waited for nearly 30 minutes and noticed that 4 tables became available yet no one was being seated. Upon asking, we were told that they were avoiding seating people as their cook quit and they were in a tough spot. It was unclear if they were even going to inform the customers who were waiting! The family we were visiting indicated that service has been declining at Shorty's as the owner opened a second restaurant in Richmond and diverted the reliable waitstaff to the new restaurant. It's unfortunate that Shorty's has not continued to support the Williamsburg restaurant. We enjoyed brunch at an alternate location this morning. Maybe Shorty's can get their act together and continue to effectively serve their customers in the future.

Nice breakfast spot in Williamsburg. Always busy.I think the retro old time diner feel is what brings people in.

Good morning or early afternoon place in the old diner style. Nothing fancy, just good food at a reasonable price (especially considering it's tourist town location). Be prepared for a short wait at peak hours, especially on weekends.

The service was the best we have ever had in Williamsburg. Our waitress was friendly, fast and kind. The diner has a nostalgic feel to it with a life sized Elvis statue when you walk in. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the garbage plate if you want to taste a bit of everything. Will definitely go again!

Came here at 11am after the farmers market for the 1st time. Awesome little diner but man it was packed. Had the breakfast sampler. It had the right amount of everything you could want for breakfast! I had really good service and food.

One of many breakfast diner places in Williamsburg. The food is good and served quickly. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. The decor and furnishings are a little dated and could use a little brightening up. But the food is tasty and the service pretty responsive.

me and my mom go to breakfast every sunday and by far shortys is the best place we've gone too, the waitrless angie is the most wonderful woman she had an amazing personality and felt so welcomed, ive never finshed my food before be there i ate every bit there was i 1000% recommed going to shortys
