I love this place, it's super family friendly and the service is always nice. I usually get the Honey Lavender flavour everytime I go here. This time they only were selling the quart size of it, but I just had to buy it anyways because it's so good! They have nice outside seating as well as a pretty cool inside.

We've been here one time before and trust me, we'd go so much more if we lived closer. The staff is always friendly. Tons of seating inside and outside. Great decor. They always have a ton of ice cream flavors. The honey lavender is amazing!!! So delicious.

The best house made ice cream in Hampton Roads. Also available in to-go pints. And they usually have at least one, if not two, dairy-free flavors available, which is important to us because one of our kids has a deadly milk allergy. Cute, casual and comfortable atmosphere.

Came here because they were hosting the WHRO Classical Open Mic event, and am so glad we did! Wonderful old-timey feel, complete with friendly and helpful staff. There's also a nice patio and yard with cornhole outside. The ice cream is smooth and creamy with perfect mouthfeel, with some classics and some adventurous flavors.

The ice was absolutely delicious. We'll be eating lots of ice cream. We plan on trying every flavor. Excellent customer service

Very old fashioned ambiance when you walk in, but it ends up feeling a little forced. The menu is a scattered and hard to read. The kids aren't very friendly or helpful. The ice cream... was okay. Not very rich, not very flavorful. It was all just a pretty mediocre experience. I don't know who is giving this place five stars; it's not that it's bad, it's just really underwhelming.

Totally worth it! I stopped in with a friend one raining Sunday after brunch a few miles away. It was totally worth the stop. There was a cool sign when we walked in and it said, "it's always ice cream weather." Truth! We were able to sample a few flavors. I opted for the green mint chip with a scoop of chocolate. It was the perfect chocolate flavor and the perfect peppermint taste. I love that it was green mint chip. The interior was beautiful. So many vintage ice cream flare throughout. There is ample room for seating upstairs, downstairs, and outside. So much room! A wonderful place for ice cream anytime of the year!

classic old school ice cream parlor with classic teeny bopper staff. The shop has a shifting flavor menu, but some flavors are interesting enough to pique interests... (rootbeer anyone?)The inside has a gift shop complete with novelty shirts and anything else to remind you of your trip and stop for ice cream.Can't believe I've passed this Gem a hundred times to and from VA Beach/Busch Gardens... well now I know better !

Best ice cream in the Mid Atlantic. Great choices and always a friendly staff. Go out of your way and visit, you will be glad you did.
