Shopwise Meat Market

I walked in say hi got good hi, inside was clean and good. The service was awesome.I finally came to Shopwise Meat Market since its been around for a long time each time I drive down seaboard road to go to my uncles place on seaboard road. I never went into that shopping strip ever. I go every Monday forgetting it was close so I never got a chance I wanted to go this Tuesday, but it was raining after going shopping around landstown so on the way home i was like just go home because I also had ice cream in a cooler so didn't want it to melt either.The item I got was The Italian. It is huge and very good very fresh, next time would try the works. It is very flavorful with the oil and vinegar on the sub hoagie. Butcher of meats on one side and sub sandwich on other side. I would come again next time

Thanks to Shopwise Meat Market, I'm never getting a sub other than a local butcher shop. The Italian sub that I got was GIGANTIC! Not only that, but the meat and ingredients were super fresh. They're definitely not shy on giving out those fresh deli meat and hoagie dressing. I had to finish this up in three meals.

Stopped by Shopwise Meat Market after lunch and was greeted right away with a warm hello. The folks running the counter were super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience feel welcoming. The shop was well organized. I picked up some great-looking meat for the week--cuts I had been searching for in bigger stores but couldn't find. The prices were very affordable, and the quality was excellent. This is a nice, local shop with a great selection and genuinely kind people. I'll definitely be back. Best sandwiches around!!! Reminds me of a NY deli!! If you get the works on a sandwich no extra charges or fees. They always go above and beyond for customers! They also have a great selection of quality meat/cuts with great prices! Hands down the BEST sub in Virginia Beach!

Shopwise Meat Market reminds me of the 70's TV show The Brady Bunch. Ya know Sam's butcher shop. OH it's Great. They not only have an awesome butcher selection they have a good lunch menu. We picked up The Italian sub with "THE WORKS". Nice big sub, Fresh, Full of yummy flavor. Really hit the spot. Take out only. They have a drink cooler and you can get a bag of chips. The meat counter is A M A ZING!!!! You want it they have it. They even have seasoning for the grill of all kinds and they sell smokers that talk to your phone. SUPER COOL.I really wish they had some seating outside but we just sat in our car and ate. With the Pandemic we are use to eating in our car. We will definitely will be frequent shoppers at Shopwise Meat Market to get meat for the grill and pick up a sub for lunch. Summer is going to be great this year now that we found this place. Oh and they have been here for 19 years. They have been around a while so go check'em out

Huge sub!! Ham, turkey, provolone cheese, and the works (minus a couple things) $11 with tax. There are also fresh cut meats in the market as well such as breakfast sausage, steaks, ribs, stuffed pork chops, etc.

The food is excellent! The service is awesome, so friendly and knowledgeable 10/10 would recommend and have to all my friends and coworkers!!

I had a sub from Shopwise about 4 years ago and I have thought about it at least 5 times a year since. The sandwich and service were so good I went back in and tipped even more. Best sandwich I'll ever have.

the sandwich was decent, but the service was terrible. As soon as we walked in someone said "oh a quiet one". I wear hearing aids thanks to a battle with COVID a few years ago. And I honestly did not hear anyone say hello when we walked in. Then a woman who was speaking with one of the owners came up to me and said rudely "you need to speak up when someone says hello to you". unbelievable, so rude. I told her I wear hearing aids and she just said "well sorry for that but you need to say hello". The gentleman she was speaking to when we came in then was very rude and curt like he didn't want to make our sandwiches. I will never go again, they clearly don't appreciate people with disabilities

Everything about this place is fantastic. From the friendly owners and staff, to the loyal customers. We LOVE the Italian deli sandwich, it is amazing, we split it between two adults. We've also purchased beef tenderloin, and they peeled it for us. The meat was so tender, it melted in our mouths. It's a local business that provides high-quality food.
