Secret Island Tavern

I saw Riff Raff here a few years ago, had a great time. First time coming here and thought the venue was quite nice and spacious.

Not sure what else I can say...Thai restaurant has okay service, but the wait staff are mentally slow! We found hair in our Cesar salad on their first day open (today). If this restaurant has hair in their food the first day open, what make you think it won't happen again. They are not going to succeed. This restaurant was not prepared or put together for the first day. Walking around with racks of glasses, laughing and chatting with each other, and more while people were in the dining room!

Me and my husband wanted to find a place to cool off and get a drink! We walked up and they weren't open, but the owner Natalia welcomed us and served us anyways, said "we will always serve you" with a friendly smile. The bartender Jenny was friendly and made us yummy drinks too! Cool environment, feels like your you've stepped back in time! So cool! Definitely check it out if you're in town!

The bartender couldn't keep up with an 8 seat bar that only had 7 people at it. I was able to sit there long enough without being acknowledged to see some of the food come out. Almost positive that it came from7-11. Better bars, food and entertainment all up and down the beach.

This place might be okay if they didn't allow promoters to ruin their reputation! So disappointed that this place doesn't keep its promises.

I moved down here in May and finally got a chance to try Secret Island Restaurant. The food was pretty good but the pricing seems a bit high. I ordered the cheesesteak and iced tea and my total was $14.01. Did I mention it was $14.01 for a sub & fries?!?!

This island should stay a secret. Do not come here. Poor customer service and management! The bartender lost my friend's debit card, the air conditioning was broken, there were unfulfilled promises, and the promoters called me and my other friends very inappropriate names and insulted us when bringing up concerns about their service. I could almost excuse the behavior of the promoters had the owner stepped up to uphold the morals of his establishment.

Went for a light dinner. Service was very quick. There was a large party of about 20 people and they were getting ready to put their food order in, they made sure to put our order in first. Owner helped serve our table and she was very attentive. Food was very good we had the nachos and the fish tacos. Would definitely recommend. We did not try the dinner entrées so I cannot speak to those.
