Sara DeSpain Fine Jewelry

I visited her Studio/Store at Liberty Station in San Diego. It is located in an impressive, renovated building on the former Naval training base.Ms. Despain makes the jewelry which is some of the most well done and artistic I have seen.She uses seashell molds to create some of her gold/silver pieces which result in amazing looking jewelry.She is a graduate of the highly prestigious Gemological Institute in NYC.I was really impressed with the creativity and talent on offer and left with a cool silver ring.

Love the place, it is nestled right by the boardwalk and restaurants. The jewelry is amazing, and priced fairly. The lady Sara DeSpain is the sweetest lady ever and has stories to tell, we will remember her and her services for years to come.

This is now one of my favorite places in OBX! My wife had trouble making up her mind on what charm she would like for her Pandora bracelet, and we ended up leaving before she bought anything. She later told me after we had arrived home which piece she really liked. Our anniversary was coming up, and I called Sara DeSpain to see if I could get the piece shipped. The lady who answered the phone was the same person who had helped us when we were there, and remembered who we were! She was able to ship the charm that day for a simple $5, and the charm arrived in time for me to give it to my wife for our anniversary. The charm is a custom piece made there, and all of their jewelry is done in great detail. We will definitely be giving more of our service to them when we return next year! Great customer service, and great shopping experience the whole way around.

The reason why my Mom and I came to this store is kinda cool. My Mom was walking along the beach and met the store owner, Sara DeSpain. My Mom and I decided we were going to visit this store before we left the Outer Banks. We made the right choice! The store offers a wide variety of jewelry from local artists. It was hard for me to narrow down what I wanted to buy because I wanted so much. The owner of the store was very helpful. I asked her many times to show me pieces and she was happy to. I ended up buying an octopus sterling silver charm and a black starfish ring. I would definitely recommend this store to others. The prices are reasonable, the store is nice, and the owner is a great lady!
