Sandy River Distillery

Every time you visit FarmVille you have to visit Sandy River Distillery. Especially for the holidays. Cocktails are fantastics. They use their own liquor and their seasonal cocktails are delicious. Sandy river is done up for the holidays and feels like a Christmas pop up bar. They have heaters and seal off the patio so you can enjoy the bar any time of year. Their old fashioned is as staple but they make a drink for every pallet. Sandy river is must try.

On our way back from FarmVille we saw signs for Sandy River Distillery and said why not?! This was such a pleasant surprise. The distillery itself was small and extremely modern looking. The tasting room is an 1800 log cabin that was converted for tasting and mingle area - very cool. The distillery is ABC licensed so you can have two cocktails or do a tasting. We learned from the staff that the owners also have teepees for getaways, cabins, sauna coming soon, and a beautiful outdoor space.

This small distillery outside of Farmville is friendly and welcoming. You can visit their tasting room and learn about the distilling process while sipping and savoring batch spirits and craft cocktail samples.Be sure to follow them on social media or check the events link on their web page for live music nights, salsa and more.

Great new distillery a few miles outside of town. Offers tastings, a great smoked old fashioned and more.The tasting room and attached patio are comfortable and inviting in a country setting.Excellent time with a knowledgeable distiller. Good Luck

Bourbon was excellent! Pizza was fantastic! And live music by Chaz Knapp was great! Happy 50th Birthday Mark!!!

The ambience is terrific at Sandy River Distillery! I really enjoyed the Smoked Old Fashion made by Shannon there. There was music, fine booze and a million stars in the sky. Can't wait to return!

Very friendly staff and great service. The owner is very knowledgeable and willing to educate the public about his Distillery. Very tasty peach moonshine.
