Had a wonderful time here for the first time. Centrally located within VA Beach Town Center, there are plenty of parking garages and street parking which makes this venue convenient. Staff greet you as they open the door, scan your tickets, direct you to your section and seats. Very helpful and friendly staff indeed. The restrooms are clean. The stage is of appropriate size, seating from balcony is comfortable and has unobstructed view of the stage. Concessions were available. I was here for Hauser (cellist) first Smerican tour concert. It was a truly unforgettable experience. I'd check out more Sandler events in the future!

What an amazing concert!!!! I had this group on my bucket list and I'm happy to have crossed it off. The tickets were a gift from my beautiful daughter as a birthday gift. I had never been to the Sandler Center but was pleased with the venue. No mater where you sit, there is no bad seat. I like where it's located because there's so much to do before and after whatever event you attend. We enjoyed the concert and venue so much that while we were there, we bought tickets for two additional events (Fleetwood Mac and the Nutcracker). Don't hesitate to attend events at this venue. I'm sure you will find it to be just as pleasant as a did.

I went here for my first time yesterday. The Celtic woman was playing. I had no idea this center even existed until I got invited to this concert. It's in a very beautiful area of Town Center, Virginia Beach. When you walk in everybody helps you check in quickly and is there to help. They have a concession stand for snacks and sodas as well as a booth for alcoholic beverages such as champagne, wine, and some other cocktail options. There is no liquor available. When we walked in, I noticed how large the concert area was it was very clean inside and again everyone helping you get to your seat was very helpful and everybody seemed to really enjoy their job. :) The sound in the concert hall is beautiful I have no complaints.

I been attending the outdoor concerts sponsored by Ynot Wednesday. Today was Deloreans. I love this 80s band. They play all the fun songs that keeps you in your feet. They stayed around even after is started to drizzle. They offer alcohol vouchers so make sure you get your ID wrist band and get your tickets before you settle where your am hanging out. They have free parking garages not far from area. And other shops to eat and drink all around. I got my vouchers for my beer and got a pizza before the end of the night. I mean. Ynot right? They have restrooms inside so when you need to potty after all the beers. You can also get more vouchers inside. The pizza are so yum and fresh.

The Sandler Center is a very elegant venue for a concert. We were there to attend the HAUSER concert. We had good seats in the right orchestra section but I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Attendants were so helpful.

I love this venue to see shows. Always a great experience. It is in Town Center so most likely you will have to park in the garage but it is free. The volunteers are so helpful and kind. I have never run into a rude person. I have seen the Little Mermaid, Michael Jackson tribute and Abba tribute in the last couple of months but have seen many shows here. Not a bad seat in the house. Always clean. The staff makes it awesome. Definitely recommend. I am going back to see The Golden Girls and maybe Secret Garden.

I feel odd putting "food taste" as part of the review for this facility but it should at least be mentioned that yes - they do have a small snack vendor area here that allows you to pickup a few snacks. Very basic snacks - think pretzel, chips, etc. It's very useful for our event (our daughter attended her first formal event - The Nutcracker) as of course, kids will be kids and want to snack. The only catch - you can't bring food into the main area. I understand as people aren't generally very 'cleanly'. So during an event that is very busy, the line will get unusually long and the intermission will not be enough time to be able to get food, eat it, and then make it back into the main hall. Just as a backup, you 'can' check in your food where the coat attendee is. It helps even though it's somewhat awkward.Overall, there really is no 'bad seat' in this facility. That's actually how this place was designed and it shows. I've been here multiple times and have even volunteered here a bunch. It's just a well designed place.Do yourself a favor though, when you park, come early to find a parking spot outside. If you park in the designated garage and it's a very big event, it could take you in excess of an hour just to get out. I learned the hard way as we had dinner reservations after the event.Overall, great place and I know we'll be back. We are very fortunate to have such a great facility close by. This intimate venue is a true gem of sight and sound with 1,200 total seats on 3 levels, located in the heart of Virginia Beach's Town Center area. FREE garage parking is available within walking distance. Plan ahead as crosswalks in front of the building have steady foot traffic streams leading upto showtimes. The building's layout is simplistic but cleverly designed with forethought. Their quaint main level lobby is well staffed for ticketed entry, concessions and coat check/guest services. Unlike other venues, there are neighboring gender specific restrooms on ALL LEVELS near most auditorium entrances. A bonus concession counter exists on the second floor along with high top cocktail rounds for socializing. The auditorium seating rows are a tad tight but offer marvelous acoustics and mostly unobstructed views; no need for our youngsters to sit on their knees to see. So far, we've done floors 1 and 3 but look forward to trying the 2nd floor private balcony boxes sometime.Other notable aspects: mostly pleasant staff; clean, working elevators and comfortably wide stair cases; surrounding area is safe with abundant food/beverage options before and after shows! From ballet to orchestral events, attending the Sandler has never disappointed.

I absolutely love this 1200 seat venue, a wonderful center for a more intimate experience for a concert or any performance. We saw Hauser "Rebel with a Cello" and he worked his way through the aisles to play up close and personal with his fans. I love that they sold seats in the Orchestra Pit since the musicians were all on stage! I will make it a point to go see other performers there as well (we traveled from Winston Salem, NC)

Rude ushers, unclear rules, and not willing to engage with or even be polite to the younger members of our party. Will not be returning.
