Sal's NY Slice Pizzeria

The customer services is on point , the last time I ordered a pizza it took two hours to be delivered and the pizza was cold ( which was an hour longer than they said) . So I called them and they offered a credit for my next order. The pizza is always really yummy and fresh , just that one hiccup. I will keep coming back because of the quality of the food and customer servicesJust don't get delivery!!!!!!

Disappointed in todays pizza. Extremely thin crust that was a perfect doneness, it was nothing like the pizza I ordered just 6 months ago. Topping were near invisible, and I never had a sliced meatball topping. This order just didn't meet expectations.

Traditional N.Y. Style pie. great sauce. Lil flop with the larges but to be expected. Really good Pizza. Takes about an hour for delivery and drivers are on time. *Have not been in the establishment yet to rate.

I like their Hawaiian pizza with extra pineapple. If you like garlicky goodness, this is the place to get your stromboli and calzone. Their margherita pizza was also satisfying and garlicky. And their lemon pepper wings are the best around. It's just a simple take-out pizza place in the inside and service has been pretty good and courteous whenever I place an order and pick up.

Soooooo our friend from Northern Virginia was coming to visit, but he got stuck in traffic. Our restaurant plans for dinner were cancelled. We needed something easy to eat and delivered to our house. We saw Sal's and figured we would give them a try! We got the jalapeño poppers, garlic knots, alfredo pie, and pepperoni pizza. The jalapeño poppers are chEEsy in an amazing kind of way. The garlic knots are so well seasoned. To be honest these were my favorite. I felt that both pizzas needed a bit more sauce for my liking. I also wish the garlic knot seasoning was on the crust of the pizza. That would be bomb. I truly appreciate that they serve a white sauce pizza, as many places don't. White sauce is always one of our favorites. I enjoy the thin slices, making it not too doughy. The delivery person was nice! We did not see the inside since it was delivery.

I'm from the north so always pizza picky. This wasn't bad at all / had a pepp and mush and a white plain pie. Both were great crust and cheese to topping ratio !

We normally order a pep pizza and we love the size of it! A little expensive but probably on par. Their Italian sandwich is delicious! Would order again. We ordered through Uber Eats, it would be awesome if they had an in house delivery system because I'm sure their Uber Eats prices are not the same as their in house ones but it's expected (sandwich $17, pizza $21) Food was delivered from the restaurant quickly. This is really our go to spot for pizza at this point so we will continue to use them .

New York Pizza in the heart of Virginia Beach{Update} Management contacted me regarding my previous order and offered to make it right. Based on a recommendation, we decided to carb-load by ordering a pizza pie to go. Unfortunately, some of the toppings that we requested through the online order form were missing from the pizza. We did not realize this until we arrived home. Since we were in extreme hangry mode, we did not feel that it was necessary to make another trip to Sal's to get another pizza. Since this can happen any place, we hope to give Sal's another try in the very near future (and I'll be sure to update my ranking). We'll just remember to take a look at the pizza before leaving the restaurant. Other than the mix-up with our pizza, Sal's seems like a decent place.

It was yummy pizza. We really liked it and will make it our pizza place if it stays consistent!
