Absolutely outstanding pizza. We got the several large pizzas and they were very good.I highly recommend the deluxe pizza, it is absolutely loaded (everything except fish and fruit).

We ate at Sal's tonight. They do not have a lot of seating space but accommodated our group for our son's 16th birthday with no hesitation. I was so impressed with their professionalism as they answered phone orders and walk ins with estimated wait times. It is a Sunday and a huge cottage turnover day - pizza and subs are no brainers for tourists and they non-apologetically gave honest answers. I loved this! The atmosphere made me so happy with tons of Frank Sinatra music. We ordered wings, garlic knots, a 18 inch pepperoni pizza and a deluxe. Everyone was pleased with the tastes. The wait staff was kind and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

Wasn't a fan. For starters, the online ordering system is a joke. While they did accept our order over the phone, it wasn't the same. We were told 40 minutes. Which ended up being 70. The pizza was...meh. Yeah, it's pizza. But, it's not pizza you'd purposefully order again with other options available. Sauce had a weird taste, and all toppings were basically melted with the cheese. Just wasn't good.

I'm from NY and this pizza was terrible. The crust was soggy and flavorless. We felt like the entire thing was not seasoned whatsoever. The pizza was super greasy and they charge a lot for each topping you add. Also, if you order after a certain time they have a menu that is limited to pizza or wings only which they don't disclose on their website. Expensive and disappointing.

Recently wanted to get pizza, but our "regular" places were closed so thought we'd give Sal's a try. What a find!This is a classic joint, which is exactly what you'd find in NY - and this is a good thing.The pizza did not disappoint. The crust had a great chew to it, thin and crispy, and generous toppings. We saw others there that got the lasagna or baked spaghetti and based on their reactions it was as good as it looked.The only disappointment is that we didn't try Sal's before now. It is now part of our "regular" places.

Owner was extremely rude, coming outside and yelling at me and my friends saying we could not park here without coming in when we were planning on coming into his restaurant. Because of this we got into our cars and drove across the street to another restaurant.

We got a pizza for takeout. I prefer a good wood fired pizza, but couldn't find any place serving one. We decided to grab a pizza here just to change from the seafood we've been eating all week. It was okay but I wouldn't want another one.
