We love ordering pizza from here! Really great pies for the area (we're from NJ so we have high standards), friendly delivery service, and really good Italian dishes if you go that route. I personally love the pineapple and ham pie and the lasagna, but my husband loves the classic cheese. Also, they have a 24" pie if you're looking to feed a crowd! Definitely recommend.

This spot has gotten its act together beautifully. The toppings are plentiful. Delivery is prompt. They make my wonderful New York (Brooklyn) style pizza that I love. I can't eat any other type of pizza after experiencing months of this awesome pizza at my son's in Brooklyn. Thank you to the restaurant who feeds my love of pizza. I won't order from anywhere else.

We were hungry after having missed lunch and a long afternoon of shopping and exploring, and decided that pizza would be a good anecdote. We dropped into Sal's NY Pie Pizzeria on a Sat night around 5 pm; this was our first visit there. Food. (4/5). We ordered at the counter to dine in. We debated vegetarian options, and ultimately decided upon the Green House Pie, intentionally ordering the large 20" pie ($26) to have leftovers, (Pizza sizes include 14", 18", 20", and 24"). The Green House features spinach, green olives, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and broccoli. The NY Style pizza was served hot from the oven, with crispy edges, and had a good amount of toppings. The overall taste was very good, with minor comments that the center was a bit soggy, and the tomatoes topping was undercooked. I also learned that broccoli isn't a personal preference as a pizza topping, but that's not the restaurant's fault!Ambiance/service. (3/5) The restaurant has staff at a counter for ordering, a number of tables for on-site dining, as well as a fountain drink machine and an upright cooler with canned drinks. There are also large piles of already constructed cardboard pizza boxes. Only one other family was on-site though the restaurant clearly has a healthy pick-up business. (I *think* that I also saw a sign that they offer DoorDash delivery). We looked at a number of tables, but we were disappointed to see that none had been wiped down recently -- so we selected the one that was the least dirty. The pizza was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, but no staff ever checked on us again. We had to ask the counter staff for a take-out box, and get it ourselves, though they offered a paper to put on bottom to absorb oils.Value. (2/5). While large, the cost of this pizza ended up at about $33, including tax and tip. This is a lot of money for a pizza! Tip: check out the coupons on the restaurant's flier (available in restaurant) before making your final selection. There are some good deals. We also noticed, too late, that we were eligible for free garlic knots with our $25+ purchase. Parking is good and free, and easy on-off of Shore Drive.

I've been meaning to try this place & I'm glad I did! I've only had New York style pizza once when I visited and this definitely got the spot. The crust was good & toppings were great. I would definitely come again to try the other things in the menu. It was a bit busy when we went so we had a little bit of a wait but it was delicious!

Ordered an 18 inch pepperoni special online through Slice app. Alerted on text of status. Pie was ready at promised time. In dining was dead on Saturday evening. Good tasting pizza with plenty of toppings and crispy bottom. A great value for $17. They offer delivery.

Decent pizza, fair price. We ordered takeout, just a large pie, half veggie and half pepperoni. Crust was good and we liked the pepperoni half far more than the veggie, even though veggie pizza is usually my favorite.We are located close to this joint, so will definitely order again, but plan to order a wider variety of items off the menu to give a more extensive, fair review.

When we walked in we were a little confused if we ordered at the counter or if there was table service. Nobody greeted us when we walked in. After we realized nobody was coming to the table we ordered at the counter. We ordered a plain cheese pizza, two fountain drinks and a salad. The soda machine (help yourself) mix was off. No fizz. The salad was very low quality. Iceberg lettuce, four slices of thin cut tomato, thin sliced red onion, pepperoncini peppers, tiny cubed prepackaged croutons and even smaller cubes of feta cheese. About a half an hour later our pizza came. The cheese was so oily it slid off the pizza. True sign of low quality ingredients. We helped ourselves to a box and packed our leftovers and left. No thank you, have a nice night.... Nothing! Not one redeeming quality in this establishment!!

So the pizza is amazing. You have to get the big new york style. It is thin and large (I am not a fan of thick crust, chicago style etc). 1 slice is like 2 slices of a normal large from a chain pizza. So don't let the price deter you. With having a teenage son, one pizza can feed our family and have a few slices left over. My preference is always the white sauce pizzas, to each their own. My sister had the hot Italian sub and loved it. However, the cheese options are limited, so if you like anything other American cheese, you're SOL. I do not recommend getting the fried calamari. You can tell it's frozen and it's heavily battered, so it's not worth the $.

I do not like leaving poor reviews.But my first issue is a pretty important one. I ordered by phone after work for a pick up order. Went inside, paid, and waited. While waiting, the gentleman who answered phone calls of incoming orders had the incoming calls on *speakerphone. As he took a person's order, he asked the person for their credit card info. The person gave him all the info (number, expiration date, 3 digit pin) over the speakerphone!! I heard every number/date/pin crystal clear. This is not safe to do, as those with bad intentions can sit there and collect credit card info listening to them take orders using their speakerphone.DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. ASK if you are on speakerphone.I ordered the oil and garlic pasta, and asked them to add meatballs, and a brownie. Came with a small salad. The pasta was fair. Really had little flavor. I doctored it up at home. The meatballs also had little flavor. Pasta was not al dents but it was fine. Salad was fine although small. Garlic bread was okay. Brownie was good. Customer service for me was fine. I will give them another try and probably order a pizza next time, *ONLY for pick up* so that I never have to give my credit card number.They have to stop with the having folks say their credit card info over the speakerphone.
