Good values. We would come again. The clear soup needs improvement...probably because it's not turned over as often as the miso soup.We have our fill of the dumplings..lots of onions inside, yum.

After reading prior reviews I was optimistic about the food and less so about the service..as well as hoping we didn't get the server who couldn't get off their phone. I normally go to the Chesapeake location because theyre amazing. This location had a decent ambience. Our server was super nice, she was a young lady and I was thankful we didn't get the guy server whom I noticed was never without his cell phone. We ordered all kinds of appetizers and our sushi. The rolls were big, tasted amazing and the sushi cuts were perfect.The only complaint i had is that they didnt let me use my 10% discount from Yelp. Our server said that they stopped years ago but the coupon was still there and showing valid. But overall it still wasnt a bad experience! Check em out fot you sushi all you can eat needs!** YELP UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 09/15/2024 **I spoke with the owner and they do not accept any Yelp Coupons. I just wanted to give everyone a head's up if you have yelp coupons for this business.

Randomly decided to go to Sakura. I've been there several years ago, but forgot to write a review about it, but it has not changed and its quality and freshness. Prior to going to the restaurant I looked at the menu and circled the four rolls that I wanted to try.Once I arrived, I got seated right away and greeted by a friendly waitress, and she took our order and I read out loud and pointed out the four rolls that I wanted, that I circled in Red on my phone, and my friend ordered her items.Food came out fairly quickly for quite a busy Saturday night, but I noticed that one of the rolls I ordered was incorrect because it had chopped crab on the top and I only ordered rolls with fresh fish on the top. So I pointed out to her that one of the rolls should be the Pembroke role and she argued with me that, I ordered the Chesapeake and I showed her my phone again with the circled and red and she tried to tell me again that I ordered the Chesapeake roll when I didn't but eventually she took my plate and changed it out. So that was really the only hiccup I had was service. The rest of the night went very smooth with her. I ordered several sashimi, a couple of Tataki fish, and rolls, and all of it was so buttery, smooth and fresh really truly hit sushi craving spot! The aged tofu had bonito flakes on the top, and was really crunchy, sweet savory and the shrimp shumai is always delicious. I ended my meal with miso soup, which was the perfect ending because I'm not a sweets person.The ambience of the restaurant is somewhat dim yet kind of small and quaint, the decoration is minimal and put together very well!Ultimately, I would definitely come back to Sakura again the food was amazing so fresh not fishy at all and I definitely recommend!!!!

Probably my favorite sushi buffets! I have been going here for years & years. It's Just under $30/pp. the sushi is made to order, there's a large variety of options, & the service is usually decently fast. I especially love that they have fried sushi! The inside is a nice place to sit, they also have a coy pond in there too.

Tasty lunch offering with the popular ayce concept. We visit this Sakura (not all owned by the same owner) when I take my wife to lunch during work hours. Service for the first order is quick but the next ones are kind of sparse. The large selection of available sushi makes up for the lack of table follow up. We had several different sushi rolls each with their own distinctive flavor. The rice wrapping was just ok. We will definitely come back when in the area.

Given that we usually choose our restaurants carefully, this one was below average for us for Japanese. Daughter was craving sushi and miso soup after her nearby soccer game, so we stopped in. The restaurant is in a strip mall and offers all-you-can-eat (we ordered from the regular menu), so it was about what I expected.The miso soup was okay, but a little salty. The salad was swimming in dressing, so much that I had to take a picture of the remaining pool in the bowl after the salad was gone. The salmon roll was mid, kinda like grocery store level. The gyoza were pretty good, nice little crisp to them, but I didn't love the sauce. The chicken katsu was one of the better prepared dishes. The California roll wasn't bad, but not very flavorful; mostly I could taste cucumber. Finally, the chicken teriyaki was slightly overcooked, so it was a little dry. It was fine for the 11yo and scratched her itch. Personally, I wouldn't go back. However, the food was good enough that my college age son would be more than happy to eat there for AYCE, if I were paying.

Sakura Sushi Bar Japanese Restaurant has remained my top choice for all you can eat sushi over the past few years. This establishment never disappoints. I highly recommend trying their Specialty rolls, such as their Mango Hawaii Roll.I suggest visiting for Lunch rather than Dinner, as the price difference is substansial.

When I hear all you can eat sushi, I usually avoid the place from past experiences of having basic and tiny rolls. However, my mom recommended this place (she knows how much my husband and I love sushi) and was pleasantly surprised! For an awesome price, you not only get unlimited rolls but also appetizers, other sides, sashimi, and 2 items from the sushi bar. We went for dinner and even though the place was busy, our server did a great job of making sure we weren't waiting long for our orders. Inside the restaurant was a nice atmosphere and their bathroom was clean, which is always a good thing.

T - All around excellent time, high quality fish for an all you can eat experience. There's also a waitress there who may be the love of life. C- Have you ever wanted to go to Japan l then go why are you looking at this review. Make your dreams come true.
