Always quick to seat you. I truly appreciate the quick service for the initial order as well as the reups on the all you can eat. Other similarly based restaurants are quick to get your initial order but you have to tackle a waitress to take your next order. It is our family's go to spot to celebrate birthdays or special events. You can always count on this location making any event a GREAT one. Please note that not all the SAKURA's in our area are owned by the same owner so YMMV. for appetizers, the Kani salad is always delicious, Seaweed salad is plentiful, and the Edamame cooked just right. You can't go wrong with any of their rolls. The All you can eat allows you to try different rolls that you wouldn't normally go to. They have a TV on the wall by the cashier's station playing either a sports game or local news, without it becoming a bother. This SAKURA always earns my Five stars!

This place is absolutely incredible! This has to be my favorite sushi spot in Chesapeake. I know there's a lot of Sakuras in the area but in my opinion this is the best one. I'm blown away by the experience--no lines, amazing service.Overall the fish quality was nice! I did enjoy the salmon sashimi. The rolls had many unique flavors. The service was good and the servers were really attentive towards us. The inside isn't too big but didn't feel cramped or anything.I'll be back here without hesitation!I couldn't be happier with my visit. Keep up the fantastic work!

The sushi was delicious. I never had fried sushi before it was scrumptious. The service was great our food came out hot and fresh. The seating was comfortable and we had plenty room for all our plates. The server came to collect our place and refill our drinks in a timely manner. I enjoyed their lunch buffet.

What a nice surprise Sakura turned out to be. My brother and I decided to eat here for lunch and opted for the all-you-can sushi lunch. We couldn't believe the quality of the rolls provided on the menu and were very happy with the sushi and other snacks. One rule to the all-you-can eat menu is you must eat all the items you order otherwise they will charge you for the dish. I found that to be a bit overboard, but can certainly understand they don't want people abusing or wasting food. Overall, great sushi and service.

When this place first opened, I was a big fan but based on subsequent visits I have to say that the food quality has definitely diminished. I imagine that it is hard to stay profitable in a AYCE (All You Can Eat) restaurant because some people take that as a personal challenge. The food quality is not what it once was, that is not to say that it's bad, far from it. There are just better places to enjoy good sushi... but I guess that old adage "you get what you pay for" rings true.

Quick service, my go to spot when hungry and craving sashimi. I always eat here a few times when in town. They do a lot of take out but I come for the all you can eat. The decor is interesting, so many things to look at.

Stopped in for lunch and took advantage of their "all-you-can-eat" offer. Here you order items from their special menu and everything is made to order. Options are a little bit limited, but reasonable, and this enables the chefs to keep up with demand. Food was delivered promptly (often sushi can be exceedingly slow!) and fish was fresh and tasty. Several items were deep fried (shumai - unexpectedly) and gyoza, but either oil was not hot enough or basket was overcrowded as they were very greasy. Dining room is very kitschy, with myriad knickknacks and decorations - so much that it seems almost claustrophobic. (Really, you can take down the Christmas decorations in June!). Tables in middle of room for grubhub and doordash, along with menu washing stations are off-putting holdovers from initial pandemic reactions and need to be readdressed in a way that is more appropriate.

Low end sushi restaurant. Miso soup had very little taste. A lot of sushi but little taste. We thought the menu was confusing. Also, floor was very slippery. Seemed it was mopped with a greasy mop.

WE LOVE A BENTO BOX!!! From the start we have ordered to go from this restaurant multiple times since discovered it within the last week. Due to this, I cannot comment on the atmosphere or ambiance of the restaurant. The food is delicious period. There's nothing more to say there except get it and have your pallet be satiated. I would give this 5 stars except that I ordered dumplings one day and they forgot to include them. That was very sad so minus 1 star for the unfortunate service there. Absolutely recommend checking them out if you have not. They are quick to have the food prepared as well! And the bento box is so cute
