Went here with my besties for dinner around 6 pm on a Thursday. There was a decent little amount of people in there, but there's plenty of seating so even if more people were inside, seating wouldn't be an issue at all. The service was very friendly and comfortable. I ordered the large P6 beef pho (10/10) and the A2 soft spring rolls (9/10). Overall everything tasted great and came out in a decent timely manner, fresh, and piping hot. I was looking for a new pho restaurant and this was my first time trying Saigon #1, they're def my new go to now. I really want to try their boba next time I go! I spent around $25 for my meal.My overall rate of experience : 10/10

Just got disappointed at another Vietnamese place and saw that this had better reviews. BUT yikes!! This has to be the worst tasting fried I have ever had! We ordered the beef fried rice, chicken fried and brisket pho. Both the beef and chicken fried rice were AWFUL. No flavor, they were bland which I have never had at a Viet place. Furthermore, the rice wasn't well mixed, as there were several chunks of white rice pieces. The brisket pho was ok but only had 6 thinly sliced pieces of meat. I am highly disappointed. The chef has lost whatever the zeal he/she had that gave them the previous good reviews. I can't see us returning.

Amazing food! Took to go because I had over an hour drive home. Everything was delicious the pho was separated ingredients so I saved it for later and it was delicious.

My recent visit to Saigon #1 in Virginia Beach left me with mixed feelings. While the P6 Pho Dac Biet showcased a well-seasoned broth and perfectly cooked noodles, the portion size seemed a bit small for the price, and the meat content was disappointingly modest. The broth, although clear and seasoned, lacked the expected fragrance, although the fish sauce seasoning was discernible. Pro tip: Ask for the chili oil on the side to enhance the flavor.Moving on to the Banh Mi sandwiches, the experience took an unexpected turn. The presentation was not in line with the traditional Vietnamese-French baguette; instead, it resembled a Philly cheesesteak hoagie. The meat, formed into a sausage patty, was scant, and the absence of pate was noticeable. Disappointingly, the sandwich did not include jalapenos, and even though I requested the veggies on the side, the provided pickled radish and carrots were insufficient.Despite satisfying my Vietnamese food craving, the unconventional Banh Mi presentation and the lack of attention to detail in terms of ingredients and portion sizes left me uncertain about returning to Saigon #1. While the pho showcased some positive aspects, the overall experience fell short of my expectations for a top Vietnamese restaurant in the area.

Very delicious! This was my first time coming to Vietnamese and not getting pho. My bowl was SO good! I was so happy I chose it.My mom and I were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere, and it got a little busy while we were in there- I was surprised! The service was still phenomenal.We will definitely return!

Wow! Okay so my husband and I were craving Saigon like from home in Cali. The food here in VA is okay but not like Cali. We were so surprised at how GOOD the food was. We got a chicken bah-mi sandwich and the beef phó and the bread for the bah-mi was so soft ,but with a crunch,and the chicken was perfect. The broth for the phó was so good before we even put all the sauces and stuff we wanted. My husband literally won't let me eat his left overs when we go home. The service was literally amazing. They were so sweet and we had a blast talking with them. The ambiance was really cute and simple and I really liked how big it was inside. The owner was so nice and her staff is amazing. We are definitely coming back.. soon

Great service. I got the Bun bo hue SP2. I like spice and this was right about my limit of spice. Soup served piping hot and remained hot for the whole meal. Noodles were nice and thick. Nice change from traditional pho I usually go for. Atmosphere was nice. Servers were friendly.

I love this place so much! I'm always greeted with a smile! The service is balanced, you are checked on of course but, they give you your space. The atmosphere is calm I love the music in the back ground. I get the same thing every time : chicken pho and pork bahn mhi. The food comes nice and hot. The broth is soooo flavorful and addictive. The bag I mhi bread is so soft like they made it in the oven there! The pork is so juicy and flavorful and I love that they put mayo on it! I can't wait for my next visit

The food was delicious and the ladies helping me order were so sweet so 10/10 service. The restaurant is not very big but there is was a pleasant atmosphere inside:) I also recommend visiting for affordability.

Went in a couple days ago. Service was great got the brisket, steak pho. Veggies, soup and meat were fresh. 100% would go back
