We just moved our boat to Stingray Point marina and we could not be happier. A lovely setting where the Rappahannock River meets the Chesapeake Bay, it has all the amenities I want at a marina, such as a Captains Lounge, pool house/social room, nice pool, bright clean bathhouse. There is also free shore power, Wi-Fi, laundry and ice for slipholders! So no nickel and dime-ing for additional items. The on-site staff is top notch. Also, there are several boatyards minutes from my slip where I can either have someone work on my boat or I can DIY if I prefer. Fellow slip holders are very friendly and have already made DH and me feel very welcome without being intrusive.

Stingray Point Marina is a first-class operation and not related to Stingray Point Boatworks. I think John J (earlier review) was dealing with the boatworks next door as the marina only provides slips and amenities - no boat work.I've been a slipholder for three years and couldn't be happier. The marina is always clean and very well maintained. Lee F, the manager, is great to work and very knowledgeable.

I called asking for diesel mechanic who came shortly thereafter. He told me the basic repairs could be done in no time. Actually, the following week the staff told me it could not be done in two weeks time. I could have found another mechanic had I known they would not do the work as promised. It was not a big deal, maybe two hours of work. They misrepresented that they could not get the parts in one day even though they had known for a week the parts were needed. I felt disrespected, jerked around. The mechanic clearly said he could do it that week and then the office folks could not even give me a date.
