BUYER BEWARE: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Congratulations, you have found the most customer-unfriendly store on the OBX. It starts right at the front door with a sign right at eye level about how you can get a free ride in a cop car for shop lifting. This sign is also posted multiple places inside the store. This is the attitude you are dealing with: a store owner expecting the worst from every customer. Nasty Crow is more accurate. I spent very close to $300 in this store and inadvertently purchased a duplicate of a book I already owned. The owner was unwilling to let me return it even though I had the receipt from 2 days earlier and the item was unused and undamaged. No signs up anywhere that all sales are final. No returns, refunds, exchanges, anything. I can understand that for cut yardage, but why not for an item that is perfectly resell-able? All sales are final are usually only for stores going out of business. I have never encountered this from any store anywhere. You will also be charged extra for using a card. You can do better elsewhere where people understand customer service.

This quilt shop was a joy to visit! The owner and her husband, along with their two sweet dogs were present and both the husband and wife were lovely to chat with while browsing!I loved all of the fabrics they had to choose from, including various jelly rolls and other precuts, and they had some great patterns (and even quilt kits!) available for purchase. They also had a huge selection of Valdani thread, which I would love to order from them in the future!I was also happily surprised to see the selection of felt they had in store in addition to project patterns for the felt. The pricing was great, and the system for pricing fabric cuts was super simple to follow. No guessing necessary!They also had a wonderful assortment of notions, just in case you brought a sewing project to work on while on vacation but forgot a suppliy or two.Definitely stop in regardless if you're a quilter or some other form of sewist/stitcher- this shop is one you won't want to miss!

All staff know their products and inventory. The shop is well organized and love to visit the dogs also. It is a pleasure to shop here! Thanks for your ongoing service and "woolie" offerings!

Very friendly and high quality. Most fabrics is beautiful and a lot of quilts need. It is so good to open every day.
