Royal Farms

I've only been to Royal Farms once, many years ago, but I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken so when this location opened up, I figured I'd give it another try. As soon as we walked in the door, the wonderful smell of fried chicken hit us and we were greeted by a pleasant lady behind the counter. I also couldn't help but notice how clean this store was!My daughter instantly noticed the shake and smoothie machine and told me I had to try it out since she's had it before. The concept of the machine was super cool. You select the cup of shake or smoothie from the freezer, place it in the machine, select your level of thickness, then the machine turns it into the drink. I chose the Oreo flavor and it was very tasty. Once we ordered our chicken from the kiosk, we paid for our meals and chatted with the staff about Royal Farms. She shared with us the perks of signing up for the Royal Farms Rewards Card and how it helps you save on gas, among other benefits. We then grabbed our chicken to go and I must say, it was much better this time than the last time! The chicken was very fresh, crispy and flavorful. Since this location is close by, I'm sure I'll be stopping in again very soon.

We've been waiting for this Royal farms to open!!! When we walked in it was clean, bright and inviting. The staff was friendly and helped us with check out. We've tried their chicken before and thought it was too salty so I didn't have high hopes for this one but still wanted to try again. We got a 10pc chicken for $15. When we ordered there was a lot of people waiting for their orders as well. We ended up ordering fried chicken, Mac n cheese and corn fritters. I saw all the coffee and ended up getting a vanilla cappuccino too. The menu had lots of selections and they also have all day breakfast which we have to try sometime. When we got home we started to dig in. The chicken was still hot, crispy, tender, moist and NOT salty!!! Wow ok this was actually good!! Again I was surprised since we have tried it twice and both times it was salty and not great. The mac and cheese was pretty decent too the corn fritters were alright. Kinda dry and too bready I was expecting more. We will definitely be back at this spot!!

Ok let's just say this is the best fried chicken anywhere, perfectly seasoned and marinated, perfectly fried. Their potato logs are equally as good. The store rocks and is clean, oh yeah sometimes I buy gas here I wish they were in NY as well but I'll take it for vacation only if I have too.

Can I just say I'm excited Royal Farms is near my house. Their fried chicken is great. They have a gorgeous coffee area. See me pictures. Slushies, drinks, grab 'n go. Shakes and smoothies. I'm wild about everything and the staff super helpful and kind. Clean inside and out. They have charging stations . They also have a counter with stools if you want to eat your hot yummy chicken. The chicken is served steaming hot. It's awesome. When orders are ready they immediately call your number. So pay attention

Love the chicken! Their style of potatoes is now a fav, and we love the mac n cheese.We are greeted when we arrive and we feel so blessed these fine folks make a great dinner for us to serve at home THANK YOU!

They have great food. And are very well layed out. Awesome place to stop in for a snack before going somewhere. There good is amazing.

First time at this location. The chkn that was alrdy out looked like it had been fried way too hard & really wasn't exactly fresh and the chicken they were putting out at the time looked like it wasn't battered evenly and wasn't fried well enough at all. And yep, the end on this breast (picture) is as hard as heck! So, yeah, the "world famous chicken" brand marketing is questionable. When RF gets the chicken right, it's great, but oftentimes they miss mark and just shldnt when that's their brand.

Been coming every morning for the past 3 months and the employees actually take pride and know me in a first name basis, and even call me out on being late some days. Absolute respect for people that take pride in their job. I don't know their names but i go between 7am-8am and these people deserve a raise., thanks Chase... they know me...

First time ever eating at a royal farm I was told I had to try the chicken. I stopped today on my way home. The gentleman that helped me put in the order at the register was very nice. He asked them to give me fresh everything because it was my first time there I got out to the vehicle. I purchased chicken tender meal with the two sides. I didn't receive my one side the fries were soggy and gooey. You couldn't even pick them up and a chicken was so old when I put into it I spit it out. I took it right back in, the young man got the manager and he told me he would get someone to make me fresh first of all. It should've been fresh in the first place.

They made me give it one star. Was excited when I heard they were opening in va beach. Went twice and the chicken was nasty each time. They're known for the amazing chicken right? Those good reviews must've been left by corporate or something. Save your money and spend it at Wawa.
