Royal Farms

I was so sad when Farm Fresh went out of business exclusively for their chicken . I went into this store and it says worlds best chickenhmmmm we all know that was Farm fresh right? Well not anymore . This chicken was so good I had to keep my grandchildren from eating the bone. I mean there was nothing left . It is our go to from now on . The colonel better take note because these guys are coming for you .

This is a pretty nice gas station with some damn good chicken. Nom nom nom nom nom! There are plenty of pumps outside - it's got debit readers so you don't have to go in - it's clean and kept up. The inside is pretty big and nice with a lot of snacks and brands of food. The cooked chicken is DELICIOUS. My boyfriend loves it. We get the fried chicken and wedges a lot and eat the shit out of it. Probably not the healthiest meal but when you've had a long day, or a big fight, this is what you want when you don't wanna cook at home and you want to eat your feelings. lol.

So I work at Smithfield highschool and my kids told me about this place and their fried chicken, they said it was better than any kfc Popeyes or anything else! So I promised to stop by. Okay so you walk up and you're like "this is a gas station. Really? The best fried chicken is in a gas station?" But just do it. I got my chicken hurried outside and sat in my car to enjoy. It. Was. Great. Now I'm not going to tell you it's better than your moms home made fried chicken but this definetly takes 2nd place. If I'm ever in a fried chicken mood---I'm going here again hands down.

All staff are pleasant. I've lived in the area 2 years and visit this store almost everyday. The manager is always a joy (Jennifer) as well as everyone else there.

This review is for the Royal Farm in Carrollton, VA that recently opened up. Chicken and potatoe wedges were very nasty! Both tasted like they were cooked in very old grease. Will not be purchasing chicken again from there. I hope now I don't need medicine for my stomach. Very disappointed and stomach is irritated due to that disgusting chicken. This Royal Farms recently just opened up in Carrollton, VA. I'm so glad that Publix is open up now right behind them because this were my chicken will be coming from now.

Royal Farms in Smithfield- Chicken is always "DRY" -and to top it off it cost me $4.00. The workers behind the counter tonight around 7:00pm, young lady had an attitude. So tired of paying my money for bad service and left over food. Something needs to be done!!!!!!! Concerned Customer

It took me twenty minutes to get a sandwich. The girl working was too busy stopping to complain about a previous customer and the other two kept stopping to listen to her. There was a customer who had to get their sandwhich remade and one who had been waiting on their fries for almost 30 minutes. I get it that you get bad customers and get busy but stop talking and do your job! You can chat when there is a lull! Plus you shouldn't complain about customers within earshot of other customers. It looks bad. I'd be fired from my job if I did that. Also the older lady working sneezed and didn't change her gloves or wash her hands. Luckily she wasn't making my food.

I love the chicken at this place. Visited yesterday and ordered 3 boxed lunches. The workers in the back were slow moving at best and took 10 mins just to start filling the order. They lacked motivation and it was apparent we, and the customers in line behind us, were inconveniencing them by being there. The old lady working called my number after about 15 mins after I ordered and left the boxes on the counter. No thank you, no bag, nothing. The lady working at the front register, however, was very nice and respectful. Great attitude and very helpful. I understand this is a convenience store but at least show some appreciation to those keeping you employed. Whether you realize it or not, your job is important and many people depend on your services. Cheer up.

Walked in there very first time OK smell like fried chicken it was so much it felt like it was hard to breathe got my drinks what up to the counter to pay it's all self-pay all right whatever self-pay takes away from jobs in matter what too many prompts to do Apple Pay honestly if I can give zero stars I would but the rating won't let me

Their chicken and potato wedges are sooooo good. I only have 1 complaint, why did they get rid of the mango forreal? It was very good. I would always get my parents to buy it. I grew up with it. It was so delicious!! Please bring it back!!
