Royal Courtyard

We had the best Sweet 16 here. I fell in love with this place when I first saw it! They made the food and set up decorations, all we had to do is show up! Everyone loved the venue and they were very helpful making sure the night went smoothly. I highly recommend the Royal Courtyard! If I have another big event, it would definitely be here!

As a photographer, I recommend Royal Courthouse! It's simply an amazing place to have your wedding and any special event. This place is under new management. I been here a looong time ago, actually forgot about this place until a friend of mine had her wedding here today. It's off of Virginia Beach Blvd behind other shops, very easy to miss. It's a one story venue with a big area to hold all types of events. There's also a dance floor and bar area. From what my friend said, there's package deals that includes decoration, lights and food that is very reasonable. There's also an area space to get married, to have that one stop shop. Overall it's a good space

My Fiance and I went into this place on Saturday to take a look at it for our wedding in April of next year. Noel gave us a tour of the property and then we sat down with the coordinator. We gave them the exact date that we were looking for and went through a few of the things that they offer and they told us they would present us with a proposal. We did get the proposal that day and emailed them on Sunday to let them know that we accept and asked how do we make the requested downpayment.Today Noel called my Fiance to let her know that a couple came in after us and was unsure about when they wanted to do their wedding so Noel and coordinator suggested to them the day that we came in and asked for!Now I am no expert in the wedding business but I would think that you would not suggest a day that someone just came in and asked for. These people paid their deposit and set that date. Had they asked for a deposit while we were there we would have given it to them or they could have at least called us to let us know that someone else was inquiring about that date and we would have paid it.This is a horrible way to do business and I would never recommend this place to anyone. If they treat you like this in the beginning, I would hate to see how they handle things later. It's a shame I have to even give them a one star review because they are not even worth that.

Clearly everyone leaving reviews has nothing to do with this business and is reviewing on behalf of someone else and that is just wrong. I personally had my wedding at this venue and have been to several events here such as engagement parties, a breast cancer event, etc. Every event I've been to was top notch. The food was prepared expertly and was delicious. The owners and staff are very professional and accommodating. They ensure that your event is everything that you hope for. The venue is spacious and clean with plenty of parking. If you are looking for an accommodating venue that is a great value, look no further!Thank you Noel and Sharon for everything!

I had my 18th Birthday party here! aka Debut for Filipinos. It's a really beautiful place to hold an event! The staff was very professional and very kind too! The tables were decorated so well! When you see it from the outside it seems like it wouldn't look that nice, but when you go inside you would be amazed by how elegant it looks. A majority of our guests have never been here before and they were impressed. Rehearsals were only suppose to be an hour, but Noel let us rehearse for two hours. We had to practice our dances like my waltz and my special performance with my friends, practice how the 18 roses would walk and dance with me, and practice how the 18 candles would walk too. I'm very thankful for Noel for giving his time for us to rehearse all of this. We had a problem with the the cake because we were told it would feed 250. Noel saw the cake and knew that it wouldn't feed all our guests. The lady that we bought the cake from argued with my mom about how we didn't tell them how many people we would be feeding. (we did ask if it would fit 250 and they said yes) Noel could see how my mom was upset/mad and handled the situation with the cake lady. He offered to get a sheet cake for us!Without Noel, his wife, and the staff, I wouldn't have had such a special memory. Thank you so much!

A hidden jewel! The Royal Courtyard is a breathtaking venue with superb service that went beyond my expectations.We selected the Royal Courtyard to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday in a murder mystery 1920s style. The venue was indisputably the best choice with an excellent layout. For instance, Noel and his crew made the essential arrangements to turn a large salon into an intimate yet most elegant set up. Furthermore, both the service and attention to detail were phenomenal and truly evident of Noel's high-end venue vision and style.

We recently had our wedding here, this establishment is super clean, well put together, the staff is very friendly and well organized. They were a big help in the success of our reception. They kept everything on schedule and delivered on everything they said they would do. Pricing was reasonable compared to other venues. You will receive more for your money here.

I cannot recommend Royal Courtyard enough! Sharon and her team truly made my sister's bridal shower a magical experience. If you are thinking about booking with them, do it!!!
