Royal Bazaar is specialty grocery store concentrating in Indian and Asian foods. They carry a wide variety of fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits as well as countless spices and flours. The quality of their produce is excellent, everything appears very fresh. There is a large selection of basamati rices as well as many canned and dry goods. Refrigerated and frozen items are also stocked. Royal Bazaar has pretty much everything one could need in Indian groceries and the prices are very fair. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Employees are knowledgeable and able to answer your questions. The store is a little larger than many other Asian grocery stores in this area. I appreciate the wide aisles that enable easy navigation as you shop. The store appears clean, neat and orderly. The shelves and bins are well stocked with inventory. COVID-19 protocols are in place and followed. Royal Bazaar is conveniently located in Best Square Shopping Center on North Military HIghway in Norfolk. The large parking lot shared with the rest of the businesses is very spacious so you will never have an issue finding a parking spot. This area often experiences heavy traffic but with multiple access points and traffic lights, entering or exiting the property is easy in any direction.My wife and I just recently discovered this store and I am so happy we did. If you are interested in cooking Indian food, this store has everything you need. If you aren't interested in Indian food I still recommend Royal Bazaar for their great selection of high quality produce at good prices.

I found everything I needed for my Pani puri and butter chicken. Organized , clean place with fresh produce.

I was looking for somewhere to get paneer and found this grocery. It was huge and stocked full of anything you could need for indian dishes. They had separate sections for ready-to-eat frozen items, rice, fridges of paneer and lassi, basically anything you could think of. I wish I had more time to spend looking around because of their supply, and the service was great, very nice workers and customers. Definitely coming here again for my next indian meal groceries.

If you are looking for exotic spices and/or foods from the India and Asia this is your place. I come here mostly for the spices. I love turmeric. Their turmeric is the best and very inexpensive.

If you have to do Indian grocery shopping, just go straight to Royal Bazaar. They carry huge selection of Indian staples. The store is very clean and well organized. Aisles are marked clearly and the shelves were stocked with all needs for Indian cooking. The setup of the aisles reminded me of Indian grocery stores on Oak Tree Road in New Jersey. Check out was quick.This is definitely a one-stop shop for any Indian grocery!

A one-stop shop for all of your Indian grocery needs! You are immediately overwhelmed by the beautiful fragrances of rich Indian spices as soon as you enter the store. They carry just about all ayurvedic spices, and the most common veggies used in Indian cuisine. This place is my go to for fresh spices, herbs, oils, incense and other Indian novelties. The associates are also very friendly and helpful. They've given me great recommendations for ingredients and recipes. This store is a Vegan/Vegetarians dream! Stop by for a visit, you will not be disappointed!

Royal Bazaar is a super authentic Indian/South Asian grocer. They have an amazing selection of spices including ones that aren't exclusive to India along with fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, and teas among other items at competitive prices. They also have a frozen aisle of mostly Indian desserts. Service was very helpful in helping me locate some ingredients with which I was very unfamiliar and even helped point me in the right direction to make cooking the dish I mentioned to them easier. I'll definitely be coming back!

I make a long drive each month to come visit this place. Between their great selection of fresh fruits and veggies, and their authentic spices, it is definitely a hidden gem.
