Rosa's Italian Ristorante Pizzeria

We were looking for Italian food somewhere off I-95 on New Year's Day on our way home from visiting family out of state and this was the first place we found that was open. It turned out to be a solid choice, though!We were seated and a friendly waiter came to get our drink orders immediately. The menu is pretty extensive, with appetizers, salads, pizza, sandwiches, and a big selection of pasta dishes. I got the Pollo Sorrentino and a house salad. The blue cheese dressing was wonderful and tasted homemade - full of chunks of blue cheese! And the entree had so many mushrooms, which I love! It was delicious and was served hot - it was definitely freshly cooked! My husband got tortellini with meat sauce and added broccoli. He said it was pretty good but thought the sauce could have had more flavor. My daughter got lasagna and a Caesar salad. She pronounced the salad dressing to be the best she'd ever had, and she thought the lasagna was delicious. High praise from a picky teen!The portions were huge (none of us ate more than half our entree) and the prices were reasonable ($45 for the 3 of us). There was also complimentary garlic bread. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and provided quick, accurate service. I highly recommend this for a family dinner - and it's only a few minutes off 95 if you're traveling.

I came across Rosa's from ordering on DoorDash a while back. We really enjoyed it and we're looking for somewhere different to go for dinner and Rosa's popped into my mind. Service was excellent. The ladies were very attentive. Their pricing is very reasonable. My mom and I got the 1/2 size onion rings for an appetizer. That was plenty to feed both of us. For an entree we split the steak and cheese. We added hot peppers because it gives it a nice kick. I know some folks use banana peppers as hot peppers but they seem to use a mix which I think include fresno peppers. This was plenty for the both of us. I was also surprised that they have a fairly full bar. Most Italian spots only have beer and wine. We will definitely visit more regularly.

We travel with our dog, so takeout on the road is what we get but finding Rosa's has been great. Every trip same hotel and their food. The salad are so good and fresh, the sandwiches are delicious and hot meals are the best, unfortunately we have not the pizza because there's nothing like a pie out of the oven. Service is great and the place looks so inviting and with good food that's all you need!!

Wide selection of breakfast items. Usually done to perfection. Service was very good. Probably my favorite place for breakfast, main drawback is limited breakfsst hours.

Loved the zucchini appetizer an back twice for the cannolei an a delicious brownie found at the counter - hidden gem for sale! Buy one you won't regret!

My daughter and I had an amazing dinner. We stayed at a nearby hotel and walked over for dinner. The service and food were really good. My daughter ordered the shrimp scampi which came with a soup or salad. She ordered the clam chowder and it was amazing, as well was the shrimp scampi. I ordered the small meat pizza. The pizza was fantastic. The crust was crispy and the meat was delicious. The service was fast and well done. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best pizza in Chester! Our new Saturday lunch spot! The crust is perfect, just a little crispy but not burnt...the sauce isn't really heavy...and the cheese! We don't ask for extra cheese but look at the pic of all that cheese...yum!

I work in the Chester area several times a year. Rosa's is walking distance from the hotels my company has partnered with for us to stay. I always make it to Rosa's at least once per trip for a pizza. Always great quality and much better than the chain pizza joints. Often I can get a med or lg and it serves for several meals for me while I'm on the road away from home. If you mention your a worker staying in the hotels nearby you will get a 10% discount. - Better than chain quality Italian/ pizza type foods- good prices and even a discount for us corporate travelers-great proximity to hotel for those working/traveling
