The coffee was the best ever!! I drink decaf and the owner made me a fresh cup. Loved it. Rich wirh flavor. They even sell the coffee beans by the bay! I had to try one of the donuts too. What a treat! Super cute coffee shop. Friendly staff!

The perfect cup of coffee--have you ever really had it? Have you ever tasted beans roasted last week? Yes, last week. This coffee is a warm cup of perfection. Roasting in small batches (they use a 6lb roaster), they toast every bean just right.I buy it two bags at a time and have it shipped to me. The 16oz bags are great because they have zip-closures at the top which helps keep the coffee incredibly fresh. I got to know Will and Renee (the owners) through a friend. After I had one cup I was hooked. My morning coffee ritual isn't complete without my Rogue. Sadly, I've even found that going out to breakfast isn't quite as enjoyable because the coffee never measures up. Fellow coffee snobs across America: a cup of Joe doesn't get better than Rogue Elephant Coffee. This coffee is served at my favorite Hampton donut shop "Glazed Doughnuts", which is where I first tried their stuff. I swear by this coffee, it is always a great cup of joe and it's great knowing that they're made right here in Hampton roads.

My husband and I grind our own coffee and love supporting local businesses so were always looking to find local coffee roasters. Rogue Elephant does not have their own shop but they can be found at the Smithfield farmers market selling coffee by the cup and by the pound and also at the gift shop Primrose in Newport News. I have to say their coffee is by far one of the best in the area, perhaps all of Virginia! The flavors are bold but not bitter and leaves you wanting more of the delicious taste. Rogue coffees pair well with the morning, afternoon or after dinner - with or without dessert! Best roasting in the 757! I try to visit Rogue at the Smithfield Market at least once each season. Find them at the Farmer's Market at Princess Anne and Five Points in Norfolk. I'm a fan!

Quality coffee done right!!! The roaster takes great pride in his product and definitely delivers with every bag! There is a nice range of different roasts, all with very enjoyable flavor! The menu changes with the seasons and it always seems to get better with time! Happy to have been enjoying this product for quite some while now and I have never had any complaints! Definitely hope to be enjoying this product for much longer!!!
