The Rockefeller Room was a wonderful experience! My partner and I celebrated our engagement here and he didn't realize it was a 5-course meal he signed us up for lol! I wore a casual dress and he wore some khakis and a button up, however we kind of felt a tad bit underdressed! A lot of the people around us were wearing suits and gowns. However, they didn't mention anything to us, so I think it was ok!This 5-course meal was some of the best food I've ever experienced! I will caveat though, I would schedule an earlier time to start your reservation here if you ever plan to go, because we were there from 7pm to 11pm! And definitely do NOT eat or snack beforehand, because although the first 3 courses are small, the entree is HUGE. The waiter we had was nothing short of amazing. Our water glasses were never empty, he wouldn't even let it get halfway empty before filling us back up. Our utensils and plates were also replaced after EVERY course.. I definitely was not used to that! He was very informative on each and every dish served to us. There were even a couple of dishes that were served to us that weren't even on the menu which I thought was amazing. One of the dishes that was served off-menu had seafood in it, and my partner is allergic. Since this was an item carefully crafted by the chef and not on the menu, we figured we wouldn't be able to substitute it for anything else. The wonderful chef gladly took it back and created him something brand new for him to try that accommodated his allergies. I thought this was so thoughtful and sweet! The first 3 courses were pretty small, sometimes only as big as the spoon itself! However, each dish was packed with perfectly harmonizing flavors. It was heaven. The dishes are served one by one with a good amount of time in between each course. With the extra dishes they served, we already had a 5-course meal by the 3rd course! The big entree was the 4th course and so much time had passed that I was already almost full! I believe my entree was a 16 oz steak with a truffle crust. My partner definitely had to help me with that one lol. We finished the night off with dessert and they even gave us some cookies to bring home. Our experience was so much fun and we loved every single bite! This restaurant was definitely on the pricier side, we spent about $500 just between the two of us. For us, we would definitely come back but we would probably go here for special occasions only. Definitely one of the best food experiences we've had and we would recommend to anyone looking for a special, delicious place to not just to eat but to EXPERIENCE!

Great atmosphere but mediocre and expensive food- the room is beautiful but the service is slow and the food is mediocre at best- my halibut was dry and too salty, my fried green tomatoes were cold- the drinks were excellent but the food disappointing

Booked dinner at the Williamsburg and was able to get a reservation at the Rockefeller Room. We didn't not realize it was prefix and I thought I would get something light for dinner. Everything was amazing. The wine pairing and service from Karen was on point. I am usually not a dessert person but the hazelnut ice cream was divine (a must). I would definitely recommend and return!

Service was spectacular. Food was very great; however, steak was very good, but not outstanding. Dessert, on the other hand, was spectacular. Hats off to the pastry chef!

What a delightful evening! Food, service and ambience were perfection. Sharon attended to our every need adding so much to the experience. We eagerly anticipated each course, including bread service, and were not disappointed. A highlight of our mother-daughter trip to Williamsburg!

We made reservations months ago because it is difficult to get them. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter. We ordered a bottle of wine which arrived long after the amuse bouche and the bread, so we figured we were supposed to have them with water. Other than that, service was rather obsequious. Food was okay. I started with the roasted oysters which had a strong citrus flavor. The deviled duck egg was good. At that point we were two courses into the five course meal. The fried green tomatoes were nicely seasoned, but heavily breaded and small. The pheasant saltimbocca had a nice flavor, but it was dry. My wife enjoyed her hazelnut ice cream tort. All in all it was a two and a half hour experience. We went to the bar after dinner and were treated to great drinks by bartender Audrey. That was a nice end to the evening.
