We were a large group (swim team) and were accommodated although with very short notice. Food and service were so good when we went on Saturday for lunch that it was a unanimous decision to go back the next day.We will definitely be coming back if we are in the area again.

This place is packed--my friends and I stopped by after a night out, and even with the crowd, we only waited about 15 minutes. Not bad! At first glance, the menu prices surprised me (apps cost almost as much as the mains?), but we decided to roll with it. We tried the mozzarella balls to start, and honestly? They were just... fine. No gooey cheese pull, and the flavor didn't wow us. But the entrees made up for it! My friend's Triple Decker pastrami sandwich was a meat lover's dream--super thick and hearty. The real star, though, was Rod's Chicken Sandwich: grilled chicken (they fry it too), bacon, melty cheese, ranch, and veggies on a soft potato bun. It was massive, juicy, and totally worth the hype. I barely finished half! The vibe here feels like a modern diner--retro but not too cheesy. I'm still curious about their pastrami, so I'll probably be back. Pro tip: Skip the apps and go straight for the sandwiches. You won't leave hungry!

A favorite for sure - weekly! I think I've tried everything on that menu by now, thrice over! It's a great spot for whatever time you want - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They serve breakfast all day so you can now have that cuisine whenever you'd like! Their coffee is good, their service is stellar, and their food is usually pretty on point. I have a soft sport for their soups, especially the Christmas soup - you have GOT to try it before they run out. Orrrrr maybe I should tell you it's awful so there's more for me. It can get loud in there if there are a lot of families with smaller children so be prepared - it's not a refined restaurant that is strict about their volume. The only thing I would recommend is to close the doors and do a deep cleaning and repair for a couple of days. It's so busy there that I'm sure it's the last thing on the owner's mind but I think we regulars would definitely notice and appreciate it!

Good food and fast, friendly service. The place is usually packed on the weekends so we visited during the week and had a great experience. Love that they serve breakfast all day!

A great diner option for those in the Bon Air/Midlothian area. Even though it was busy (we went on a Sunday morning), we were sat within 10 minutes. We've been here twice and enjoyed the service, atmosphere & food. My husband said the pancakes were amazing, thick and full of flavor. Their home fries are shredded hashbrowns which are my personal favorite. Plenty of parking available and great diner decor. We'll be back!

Ok, perhaps I am being a bit difficult, but when the restaurant advertises a strictly Rochester, NY menu item it has to deliver, and even our waitress wouldn't recommend the garbage plate. I asked if they at least had a replica of the triple ground meat-based hot sauce and was met with another no (guess I'll still be making my own).Still, this has got to be the first real diner I've been to in the area that serves like you would find in NY (breakfast all day, and typically diner fare). Eclectic atmosphere pushes the patron back to the 50's/60's and the wait staff was attentive while not rushing us out (even though we arrived about 30min to close.

Food and service is always on point every time I visit them. Wait time wasn't bad either, got seated on Father's Day in less than 20 minutes. Had my favorite seafood omelette and banana nut pancakes, they were yummy too.
