Park is disgusting, and isn't very clean. Got told to leave due to lack of a membership. Not only do you have to pay but you have to go all the way to city hall to get access to a park full of feces, old abandoned toys and cases of "water" (That may have parasites or be nasty due to being left in the sun...)? How about they use that money from the memberships to actually make it worth the visit.

We took our new puppy to the Ridgeway dog park today. It's nice that they have. A separate area for small dogs. It was cold so we didn't stay long. There was another tiny do there, a sweet, little blind Yorkshire terrier wearing a cute little orange coat! We'll be back.

Ridgeway Park Park is a great park for the pups in Hampton! It's separated into 2 different parks. One for smaller dogs and one for larger. The park is huge! There's plenty of grass to run around in. The park itself has sturdy and high fencing to keep the pups in. The gate is a double entrance gate just like usual dog parks around the area. It has 5 benches for the humans to sit on, 2 being under shelter as featured in the pictures. Both dog parks have a water station with a pool for the dogs to play and cool off in on a hot day. The park itself is right next to a small lake where the dogs can jump in and cool off as well. The reason we go to this park is because of its sheer size. It's so long and the dogs love to run around in all of the space. The dogs who come are very sweet as well! That's always a plus.Check it out if you're in the area!

I absolutely love coming to this dog park. It's located in a great spot with plenty of room for the pups to run. The park has a great water station and pool for the dogs to lay in! This is one of our biggest reasons for choosing this park over others. In the summer, the heat can be hard on our dogs and having the pool really helps cool them down. There is also a lake nearby that the dogs love swimming in. There is a lot of seating in the park, including many shaded areas. The best time to come is around 5-6 in the afternoon (lots of dogs during this time). The park is broken up into a small dog and large dog area, which is convenient for people who don't feel comfortable mixing sizes. I highly suggest this dog park to anyone in the area with furry friends!

The park is beautiful but man I have never met a bunch of stuck up people. Iv never been to such a hostile park before. Went in and it's membership only. And if you decide to try and get a run in with the dogs before you take them off then some stuck up person will tell you just how unwelcome you are instead of telling you how the membership works or talking to you they would rather argue with you about poundage of the dog your bringing in. I don't believe I will ever dine to join the parks membership if that's the kind of hostility I have to look forward to.

A simple dog park with just one giant pipe for the dogs to run through. The separation between small and big dogs is nice and lets owners feel at ease. However, I've never heard of paying to use a dog park. Especially not one as simple as this. Had a Park Ranger tell us we weren't allowed to use it unless we had proof of membership. Then proceeded to tell us we're allowed to roam the actual park surrounding it no problem. Seemed a bit contradictory. If you wish to visit be aware of the membership. If you pay for the membership, I'd advise you'd put the money towards improving the dog park making it worth a membership.

My dog had a great time. 5-6 other dogs ended up showing up to the park while we were there. All the dogs got along and played the whole time. They have a giant bowl of water for all the dogs, as well as a hose to fill it up when it gets low. The park looked pretty well taken care of. Will definitely visit again.

Not impressed. Small. Signs up stating for members only. Phone number to call to register to use. There was no one there. We didn't even go in. Walked her twice around the outside fence. Would not recommend unless your desperate
