Ate here recently and had the fried chicken special. It was good, not the best I've had, but good nonetheless. The green beans were delicious and fried apples were too. This business is now called Connor's, and has moved to the building beside their old. Be advised that the dining area is very small. Give them a try...

Best food in Suffolk! Everything is fresh and homemade. Love their fried chicken and their string beans taste just like grandmas!

This is the best place to have cater an event. The food is delicious. I think that the Sweet Pickles in the amazing Chicken Salad are the best I've ever eaten.

Lori at Ricky & Roy's went above & beyond to make sure food was delivered on time and within budget, even though it was out of their usual service area. I highly recommend!

Good, down home food. Fresh, fast and delicious. If you are traveling Rt 58 through Suffolk and you're hungry, you gotta stop here for homemade goodness.

This is definitely a little known locals secret. If you are looking for some great country food and some of the best BBQ you need try this place. They have a country store in the front and the food is served in the back. Nothing fancy just a few picnic tables and you go to the counter and place your order. But there is nothing lacking with the food. From the BBQ, ribs or homemade macron and cheese you will enjoy every bite.

Awesome BBQ! This is a place locals know about. It's got a country store in the front of the place and a couple picnic tables in front of the counter where you order at if you care to stay and chow down or you can sit outside which I dig.I'd heard of this place for sometime and always meant to try but could NEVER find it. Well that's because it's got landscaping service trucks outside and it's across from the UHAUL on 58. The landscaping trucks are what caught my eye not the cute little store (smacking my head). The coleslaw is a perfect vinegar sweet combo, the greens are so good, had to buy some to go. The beans are just right sweet/spice and not all thick and mushy. Can't speak on the mac and cheese but when I see the natives loading up I know it must be good. I absolutely loved their pulled pork, and the ribs. The meat is genuinely dry rubbed and they don't cook the hell out of it. Very tender with a North Carolina flavor. There are menus but most of the people know what they want and are quick to place their orders. They are super fast and reasonable prices . They rarely advertise, don't offer specials (at least not often). Guess when you're great at what you do you don't have to.Definitely worth checking out. Oh yeah and you can get breakfast too!

One of my favorite places to eat. A quiet, nothing fancy, little country eatery. The BBQ is vinegar based, Carolina style, good flavor, tender and not dried out. You can walk in and get BBQ without preordering. Their chicken is always juicy and fried just right, however you have to call ahead if you want some to be sure they are not sold out. Their BBQ baked beans are saucy with great smokey, sweet flavor. They do have slaw, but I like Long John Silver's slaw. If I'm going to eat BBQ I make a special trip to LJS. They have snacks and drinks and other menu items you can order eat in or dine out. They also have mulch for landscaping if you don't want to go downtown. The prices are good and they cater to all different organizations. My actual first meal with them was from a Boy Scouts fund raiser. They also cater to, well, everyone it's that good.

I love Ricky & Roy's Catering and have asked them to provide the food for several occasions and getting ready for another. The key is to call and place your order early because they get busy. Thanks Ricky & Roy's!

Was STARVING and saw this on YELP. I NEVER eat fried chicken and I'm here to tell you that this was not greasy in the least. My husband had the BBQ pulled pork and we both had the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I could not finish my sides and didn't even touch the rolls (okay they are packaged so not like a home baked biscuit...). Weary traveler skip the fast food joints and eat here. Go into the little store and order in the back. Oh, dog Stella was allowed on the porch (leashed) and was provided with water. Thanks y'all!
