Retros Good Eats

Highlights: Crab Cakes (hardly any fillers - remoulade had great flavor and zing), fries were fantastic, yummy milkshake, *incredibly friendly* staff. Comments: Burger was disappointing, brioche buns were a bit too oversized oversized compared to the rest of the sandwiches, a bit on the greasy side (no complaints, just be aware).

So, stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink.... there is no better time than right now to be happy.

I thought it would be a decent lunch deal, but the food ended up being Sheetz quality for twice the price.Pros:Fries were fresh and tasty, I'd guess they cut them in-house.Caesar salad had fresh, crunchy romaine. Not well-trimmed, but fresh. Cons:Burger patties are frozen and had no flavor. Big 90s school cafeteria lunch energy. Hot dog, I was told, is even worse. I didn't dare try a bite. We did finish our food, but it was a close call.

This place was accommodating and fast with our group of about 40 students. The burger was decent, nothing to write home about, but the fries were tasty! One group member was charged 27 dollars for a buffalo chicken wrap, fries, and drink. The prices are quite steep.

Ok I love this place other people call it mid but i like it. It's a class diner style and there's MILKSHAKES. So good.

The food was decent but pretty bland for the price. Nearly $50 for a $20 meal. The staff was the greatest part, very warm and friendly

Solid lunch place - I stumbled in here due to time constraints that kept me from hitting up the bistro across the street. For a quick, decent meal, this place does the job.The menu is simple, it's a place full of burgers, hot dogs and milkshake options. I got a simple bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger itself was very very good. Well made, not greasy and tasty. The fries were also stellar. Maybe not everyone loves these kinds of fries, but I thought they were pretty tasty and not greasy at all. The line here was pretty long during lunchtime. There isn't a ton of seating here inside but this isn't the kind of meal you need to linger for. Plus there's ample outdoor seating which is helpful. This place is also situated in a good area close to the shopping/colonial Williamsburg area.Generally speaking, if you want a quick place to grab a bite that's decent, this isn't a bad choice.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating.I had the hotdogs, and they are the best I have had in the Williamsburg area!The fries are equally as delicious!Can't wait to go back!Cheers!

Lamb burger was good and well prepared. Fries were delicious. Service was friendly and quick (was not busy). Prices were reasonable for the area. Ambiance was typical diner/burger joint - menu was hand written/drawn on a chalkboard on one wall which was a fun touch.

We had someone in our group with a dairy allergy. The cook observed the discussion and came out to discuss options. Outstanding.OH - and Funnel cake fries!!!!!!!!Every one in our group of seven thought meals were good, a good value, and delivered quickly.
