Red Roof Inn Chesapeake Conference Center

I've stayed in numerous hotels in the area, and Red Roof is the best affordable hotel we've been in. Which doesn't say much, really. Starting with the good: the room was quiet, it has easy access to the I-64, and it's right next to a nice WaWa. There's a fridge, microwave, and nice TV. Also, the neighborhood isn't as dodgy as some of the other parts of Chesapeake. The WiFi was surprisingly good.The room was clean-ish, though it hadn't seen a mop in awhile (the soles of our feet got black just walking on the floor) and it sure as heck didn't get swept or mopped in the four days we were here. The toiletries and cups also weren't refilled during our stay, so we wound up using our own. Housekeeping was minimal, usually consisting of making the bed, dumping the garbage, and leaving a pile of clean towels for us. Despite its faults, we'll probably stay here again next year for lack of better affordable choices.

At first glance the room was not bad not the cleanest in town but ac worked fine.I was there for pest control conference across the street After two days I noticed bumps on my arm and legs but didn't think Anything of it .Thank you for spraying the room .Thanx for making a bad situation to an Ok one

If you want bedbugs this is the place for you!! Dirty bedding, toilet didn't work. I've had enjoyable stays at Red Roof Inns in many states and this place is trash. Spend the extra 30 bucks and get a real hotel.The front desk lady deserves the stars because she was very kind and understanding.

Worst night sleep ever in a hotel. Upstairs neighbor was very loud. Music playing loudly outside. Cars racing. Inside... bed was so uncomfortable I need to see a chiropractor. Small frig that wouldn't stay closed, so I needed to place a chair in front of it. Ran & rattled all night. I should have paid the higher price down the road. I came back at 8:30pm to a room that had still not been cleaned!!! I left & went to another hotel.

It was a good hotel for what we needed it for. Just for sleeping, but it definitely needed an upgrade and a deep cleaning. The kids walked around in the room and their feet and socks turned black. We winded up getting rags from housekeeping and wiped the floors ourselves, the bathroom was still dirty and there was dried pee around the toilet. But like I said, we just needed it to sleep and shower. The water was hot when we needed it and the AC kept the room very, very cool for all of us. Wawa was within walking distance and we'd go there for coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Looking for a nice place that's cheap? This is it! Considering the price, it's totally worth it! Room is standard and clean. Staff is friendly. Considering how much you spend on it, you get your money's worth. Went back down to buy another night.

My son and I stayed here last night and we always enjoy our stay here at the red roof inn. Great price and great amenities and right next to where we needed to go for his doctors appointment.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This motel is your typical, nasty, smoke smelling, miscreant laden, side-of-the-highway motel--except it's in a nice part of town. Don't be misled by the nice pictures. For the money you'll pay, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Booked a room with 2 beds for around $130 for 1 night. Got there.,bedroom with 1 bed. They changed me to a room with 2 beds "for no extra charge". The room smelled really bad. There was mold on the shower curtain and the chair was filthy. I was told to call Priceline for them to call red roof to okay a refund. Got an email that my cancellation fee was $115 and change. Really?

This hotel was disgusting, urine stains on the bed, seemed to be bed bugs in the room. Ronnie the receptionist was extremely rude and did not care to hear our complaints about the room. Do not recommend anyone staying here even for one night.
