Red Harbor Seafood N Chicken

The food is surprisingly delicious. I was kind of skeptical about going at first, but I'm glad I gave them a try. The shrimp, fish, oysters, and chicken are so good. The food is cooked perfectly and the staff is nice. The prices are awesome! You get a lot of food for what you pay.

It was soooo good. I got medium spice and it was the perfect spice level. The price is also cheaper than a "crab boil" spot.

I was trying to find some good crabs legs and stumbled upon this place really randomly. I showed another photo from Yelp, so I don't know exactly what the order was, but the combo I got came with shrimp, snow crab, potato, corn, sausage and a hard boiled egg and with tax was around $40. They ask your spice level and I did spicy. Also got a piece of red velvet cake, which I enjoyed. The wait was rather long for the place to have been empty when I entered. All in all, it took a good 25ish minutes. While I waited, and other customer came in and told me that he eats lunch here everyday! So my hopes were high. The food looked really great, but upon digging in, I discovered that the whole plate was kinda over cooked. The crab shells were squishy and hard to crack. The egg was so over boiled, the yolk had gone green. The shrimp were not deveined or split and with being steamed so hard the shells were a bitch to get off.The stand out off me was truly the seasoning/sauce! Nice and buttery and spicy. If I returned , I'd probably just get the shrimp combo and ask them to steam it less.

Ate here one time but will return as the food was really good and reasonable. Definitely more bang for your buck portion wise and it's so much to choose from

There seasoning is amazing! Definitely going to see if I am able to just buy that LOL. The crab cakes are not fresh they are made with imitation crab, the catfish was frozen and thawed out and I bit into a crinkle fry that was not fully cooked. The shrimp I had those were great! I know Sugar Crab Shack is a bit of a wait but I will go there cause at least I know my seafood is fresh!

I just visited today after being referred by a friend. I had the fish, shrimp, chicken and fries. Absolutely a hidden gem in the Chamberlayne Ave area. The exterior lacks appeal but the food quality and service makes up for it. I even tried the special seasoning and it was !

Being a New Englander seafood is very special. I will say the butter sauce was tasty but the shrimp were over cooked and I destroyed a lot of it getting the shell off. Also the half of an Idaho potato threw me off. It's a newer place. I may try again but get the wings instead.

An associate recommended this spot as they know we love seafood. Arriving I didn't know what to expect but the owners/staff were super nice and they serve some pretty good fried shrimp! And they were good sized, not over seasoned and came with a side for less than $10! If you're in the area give them a try! 3.5/5

The crispy, flavorful chicken is absolutely mouthwatering. And the service was amazing!
